Another back tax scam that spoofs various numbers but asks you to call back another, this one is to call (855) 959-8800.

I think it's a a scam.  We filed an extension to file our taxes late.  This company may have gotten a list of people who either did not receive a refund, or have not filed their taxes yet.  It's not right.

Or, the more likely scenario is that they are simply spamming thousands of phone numbers knowing that someone will have tax problems and be foolish enough to call them back.

They left me a VM saying "It's Jessica from tax resolution center go ahead and give me a call back at 855-959-8800..." regarding taxes that are owed. I believe this is 100% a scam, especially considering I paid my owed/ due taxes during the season.

Yeah they are just calling people at random hoping to find someone that will bite. I just got a call from them and we do not owe any back taxes or have any such issue with our taxes. They make it sound so legit. Disgraceful!

I recevied a voice mail message; stating the same thing.   I just sent an email to the IRS.Gov Phishing

You are correct.  The voice on the message left does sound legit.  Nice voice and easy to understand.  Beware.  I have reported this the number to the IRS.gov

Same experience as everyone else. "Jessica" from Tax Resolution Center left me a voicemail regarding repayment of my back taxes. I file every year on time via a certified preparer service, so I was immediately suspicious. The fact that they never mentioned me by name made me even more suspicious.

Have received three messages from "Barbara" but I have not been able to block calls from this scammer.

The attempt to scam people continues.  Left a VM with this as the call back number.  Thieves, pure and simple.

Blocked the number several times and they steep keep getting through. Tax resolution center. Trying to say owe back taxes. These people are relentless and I don't have the patience right now. As I am 100% service connected or a veteran who just lost his parents. These people need to be accountable for disrupting people's lives and also causing more stress and anxiety. I even tried to call that number back to hopefully get me off a call list. Rings once, then hangs up or tries to tell you to call back again.

Huh? Blocking conveys no message and does not prevent them from calling.  If your phone is still ringing after you blocked them then you are not doing it correctly.
