We got a call from this number today at 12:20 pm. The caller ID was BOSTON MA, and it was blocked by our call blocker. The number is spoofed. When I called back anonymously, I heard a recording which said "The number you have dialed is not in service." We have gotten similar calls from several numbers with s caller ID of BOSTON MA, including 857-262-8052. No legitimate business uses the name of a city as their caller ID, so all with BOSTON MA as the caller ID are blocked by our call blocker. Such a device is well worth the cost to avoid these nuisances.

This number called my DNC-listed landline today, Sunday, at 1439 hours.  I didn’t bother answering because the only calls I get on my landline are scam artists, and this caller was no exception.  It appears these particular scammers try either a medical scam or a donation (allegedly for state police) scam.  Either way, they’re scammers.
