Probably one of the phony charities pretending to be in Boston.

CID reads BOSTON. MA.  Another  UBCF  scam Cal or maybe one to save me money on my electric bill. Didn!t answer.

Still another scam.

Received a call from this telephone number. No message was left. Anonymous callback reached a LEC intercept saying that the number is not in service.

This number called about one month after a similar number 857-262-8710 called; that one was spam, too.  I picked up silently; DEAD AIR of a ROBOCALL but other sites say this is the 'lower your interest' scam.  Strongly believe this is a bank of numbers owned by a  Boston or northeastern TELEMARKETER; possibly TCI, INC of Rhode Island.  They are outgoing-only, which is why you get the 'not in service' recording when you try to call it back..  Its actually  'IN'  service but not for two-way calls.  A medical facility I use has the same set up: I get calls from numbers that I cannot dial directly back to.  This is set up for HIPPA privacy reasons.  In THIS case, however, its so you will never know who is actually teleharassing you - which should be illegal.

Just got this call.  Didn’t pick up.  No message left on the answering machine only said hello twice then hung up.   Blocking this number

I've been getting calls from this number & numbers similar to it for over 6weeks. They've called after 9pm & have called on Sunday mornings before 8am. I do not pick up & don't intend to. Perhaps I should have my air horn handy & surprise them!

They called. I didn't answer. They didn't leave a message.
