no message

Called and hung up without leaving a message.

SCUMBAG... had old name for my business's phone number.  I tried to explain and he was rude.  I hung up on him.
Don't know who it is but I'm over it!

Dead air, nobody there.

Caller ID said WARRANTY, which was my first clue it was not a call to answer.  Surprised to see a "message" was left.  When I checked it, I could hear multiple voices in the background, and a guy who has a belated "hello"... "hello" and then hung up.  I will add to my blocked numbers, but likely a spoofed number like these trolls usually operate.

Auto-dialer. When i answered there was a recording that indicated they would get me set up with a free website and search engine ranking.  then some clicking and an operator asked if I was the business owner.  I responded, yes, but for which business was she inquiring.  She was unable to tell me that information and rudely hung up.  The speed at which this person was speaking indicated to me that speed was of the most importance to get through as many calls as fast as possible until they could find someone that would purchase their services.

The spam bullies spoofed the number of an innocent party in San Diego.

She says that her husband a few weeks ago said "Just a minute" to some phone bullies, laid the phone down, and went out on some errands in his car.  So they are being punished for that by having their number spoofed onto subsequent rounds of calls out of India.

Takeaway: Do NOT engage the spam bullies in any way!  That means, basically, do not answer the phone, let alone attempt to have fun with them if you do.  If it's a legitimate call (and trust me, it's not) they can leave a message (hah hah).
