858-457-6000 is not a legitimate number for Union Bank!  Do not give caller any info!

This is not a legitimate number for Union Bank.  They were helpful because they were scamming you.   Or, you are one of the scammers.

The phone number 858-457-6000 is not for Union Ban, even though they have set up their voicemail in an attempt to convince people that it's legitimate.  After receiving a call from this number about a check that was not clearing my account and the caller asking for personal information (which I declined) I went to my bank to verify and was told that they would never call and ask for that information and that there were no issues with my account.   This is a scam.

Don't trust anyone with personal info beta be safe than sorry there is now an app out there to show any number u want fake call to get access to your account information so u can fake anyone's phone number on caller ID that actually can from a different number

Got a call from this number, caller ID Union Bank 0. That's zero, not letter O.  Didn't answer since family has no accounts with Union Bank. Left no message at all.
Obviously a scam. Agree with previous posters, NEVER give any kind of personal info to someone who called you. If it might be legit, call back using a number you got from a reliable source. Some of these scammers are really slick - they don't all have foreign accents and use bad grammar.

Got a voicemail soon after using my card at Target. This is after an attempted card scam with another account at Best Buy. Same story at a Walmart tech department register several months ago. These black-eyed heathens running illegal tech at the registers need to cut the crap. Seriously. All hail the incoming kiosks.

I received a call from this number and they left an 800 number to call.  Instead of calling them back I called Union Bank directly.  They confirmed it was a fraud call and said they will never ask you to give them any information over the phone for email them.  So do not give anything to them. Call the bank directly first.

They left me a voicemail asking me to call back to 800-662-9252 to verify a pending financial transfer going out scheduled for today.  Add to block list

LEGIT!!I got a call from Union Bank verifying a large transfer I made to another bank.  It was a larger than usual amount so for my protection they wanted to verify I made it.  I the women that called asked for my DOB and what branch I opened my account.  After I hung up I goggled the number only to find out that some people were saying it was a Scam and some saying Legit.  IT IS A LEGIT NUMBER FOR UNION BANKS FRAUD DEPT. out of San Diego, CA.  I CALLED THEM TODAY.  The Fraud dept. number is 1800 480 7861, open during normal business hours. LEGIT!

I do not have a Union Bank account so I gave no information.  Do not give out any information to anyone.  Hang up with the caller and call the number on the back of your card to verify any account activity.

THey called me 2X "Twice in a row. I did not answer neither time. I googled the number right away and it took me here. I am so damn sick of losers hey here's one I coined.... "They can't make it..... so they gotta take it"  I hate thieves with a passion and hope they burn extra hot in their day of judgement !

Not a scam.  I got a call from this number and said it was Union Bank and said that there were fraud charges on my account. Told the person I was not going to give any personal information and that I will call Union Bank directly which I did.  Union Bank confirmed that this number is their number office in San Diego.  There was fraud charges and I did have to cancel my card and order a new one.

Union Bank calling about an outbound bank transfer that I scheduled earlier that day. Rep stated she was calling about a transfer initiated on my account and would require my DOB and last 4 SSN to verify identity. Since she gave me a specific reason for the call that matched my expectations, I gave her my info. She correctly identified the amount and receiving bank.

Caller ID information can be easily spoofed. This number is valid, but can be spoofed by scammers. If it doesn't feel right, hang up and call the bank directly.
