Also got a few calls from this number they never leave message though.

When you return the call the AI states "Thank You for calling Citi Bank. To expedite your call please input your account number followed by the # sign". Not sure if this is Citibank or a vendor that may work on behalf of Citibank. If you have any Citibank products, contact the number on their website or back of your credit card. DO not provide your information since you did not initiate the call to combat identity theft.

have it blocked but still get messages.  The last message that was left, the man was whistling on the message.  I feel harassed by this number.

Answered and heard a lot of people in background most with foreign accents.  Then they immediately hung up.

Left a voicemail that they were calling from Citi Bank and to call back.

I have been getting calls from this number several times a day for MONTHS!  I do not have a Citibank card.  I even added my name to the "Do not call" list and it persists.  They call me several times a day.  I never answer.  They never give up.  This is harassment.

Citibank is the holder of Sears and Sears Mastercard credit cards also, so you may have one of those

Hi everyone. I was getting repeated calls from this number and never stepped into a City Bank in my life. I called the City Bank number 1-800-870-1073, gave them my social and phone number and it turns out that (i) the number 859-795-2727 is indeed a debt collector from city bank; and (ii) it's the previous owner of my phone number that owes money on his credit card.

Got email from CitiBank to confirm cell # or update it in case they need to get ahold of me.  I clicked on the confirm, my cell showed up (I did not enter it) so I just clicked that it was correct ... Couple hours later I get a call from KY, did not answer, no message left. So I put the # into Google and came to this page of comments. I just blocked the # after reading everyones comments.

Claimed they were CitiBank etc
(Any payment due Citibank had been paid, at the bank, on time in full.) They were belligerent uncooperative insisting I pay give them verification of social security etc.  BIG SPAM BE CAREFUL. !!!

Called 2 times. Said nothing, I hung up. Called them back. Recorded prompt selection, then to access my Sears account I was to enter either my account number or "SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBER"  First thing I don't have a Sears account, it was canceled a long time ago but when I asked for SSN... BIG FLAG! Come on I may be broke out of a job and don't know where my next meal will come from but be real SCAMMER. Block this number.
