Same outfit using another spoofed Caller ID.  Scam on senior citizens.

These folks are a pain, constantly calling.  I am a senior in poor health, don't need this!

I didn't answer the "859" area code#  so I don't know what they wanted.

Make them stop!

Carmen called me, and hung up....and I was so looking forward to a conversation!

I am home most of the time so what I do when I receive a call from a number that I don't recognize I press the phone (green) button and immediately press the off (red) button. Eventually the unwanted calls stop coming. I only get about 3 or 4 calls a month now.

You answered call from this number---HUGE MISTAKE!!  NEVER answer any strange caller ID spoofed number you don't recognize. ALWAYS let your voicemail system handle these scammer clans; they waste THEIR $$ calling you and eventually, they'll move on......but ONLY if you NEVER answer them.

But because you answered their call, they'll aggressively call you  AND sell your number information, as part of a large "hot sheet" list of other gullible "marks", to other scammer clans for big $$.

You really don't have to do even that---just let it ring and eventually, they'll give up.

If you use a voice mail service--make sure you NEVER record a personal answering machine greeting! Use the automated voice greeting. You don't want these crooks knowing your first name AND your phone number.

Most phones today have a built in answering machine---let THAT handle these scammer clans; they waste money calling you this way. NEVER pick up and/or answer calls from these [***].

And NEVER record your personal answering machine greeting and become a "mark" for these slimy scammer thugs; use the automated common phone greeting.

After they've wasted enough money calling you---they'll eventually move on.

In the past, my greeting was my telephone number and "leave a message" because long ago most calls were dialed by hand and misdials were common.
Also, many women, especially older women, should get a male relative, spouse, or friend, who has a strong voice, to make a greeting to throw off the creeps who make calls. Some people use celebrity voices.

I let the answer phone pick it up and they didn't say anything. They then called back and my name and phone number was on the caller ID (they are desperate) Sure didn't answer that one either.
