Go ahead. Start by not answering unknown numbers in any way. Nobody on here can do more than you can.

Second of 2 #s (first was 417-833-8296) to call within 20 minutes today, before 8:30 AM Eastern. All either call did here was call & hang up without leaving a message. The first # shows up on this site as yet another Spoof-o-Gram in the notorious Windows scam. Wouldn't surprise me if this was more of the same...

No idea who was really calling. They said nothing and hung up. Blocked.

Already received 2 calls from this number this morning before 9:00 am.

The number comes up on the caller ID as Eagle Drywall. They called twice, and the second time I answered it.  In the accent of someone from India, he told me he was calling about my computer. I told him that no one here has one. He repeated himself, and I told him again that we have no computer here. Then he hung up. Obviously, he's looking for entry into your computer system so he can steal information. Just another every day crook...

Brian Walter said he was from Microsoft and that an alert was coming through that our computers were infected with a virus.  He wanted to log into and check the system.  Reported it to our IT company to further investigate.  Very suspicious!!!

Beware: if some got a call for a drywall company, the person who called us from us number said they were from windows and our computer has a virus.  SCAM!

 11/30/15 caller with Asian accent called saying that my computer was infected with a virus and he needed access to it to repair it.
I believe he said he was from Microsoft.  I hung up.
