I Called this number shesaid they are in Pennsylvania but was calling from india - she could not answer my questions
but wanted into my computer -i asked if company was legal she kept avoiding the question.

What happened???  I have the same thing on my screen right now.... running a malware program to get it off...

Same exact thing I can't get this crap off! I got it when I went to watch a movie on icefilminfo

All I did was restart my computer, just shut it down. When I went back in and checked there was nothing wrong with my computer. I changed all my password and contacted my bank to add an alert.

Immediately shut down your computer. They actually talked me into giving access to my computer. I didn't catch on until they asked for credit card info and went into my IP Address. DO NOT give them your phone number or address. Just hang up if they call. After shutting down my computer I went back in and found there was nothing wrong with my computer.

This was not a call... I received a "pop-up" that lock down my computer... I could not exit the scam pop-up... I had to use my Task Manager to Close my browser... They told me I should call 860-269-6628... to get a "fix" to some Mal-Ware on my computer...

The only persons who should be touching your computer is you, your manufacturer, Real Windows support that you have called and/or maybe a real live tech you see face to face! And be very very leery of numbers when you look to call the real ones, there are fake websites up. Never call numbers from pop ups either, thats scareware.

This is called a browser hijack webpage.  The newest Chrome browser will give you the option to prevent any further dialogs from this page after your 3rd attempt to close it.
Just don't call and you'll be fine.

I called the number. The man said I neede to pay $300.00 and a tech would get hold of me. I didn't give him my card number.

Just restart your computer and it goes away; it will be back on other days or sights but restart works, it is just quite annoying.

This call comes from a virus or popup advertisement.  They are trying to scam you.  The call-in number is 860-269-6628.

Just take your computer to Best Buy or Staples and have them clean it out.  Do NOT call the number.  It is a scam and they will take your money.
