I got a call this afternoon from this # on a Sunday no less, stated his name was David and started to talk and all I heard was the word telemarketing and I hung up. Several hours later he called again and I yelled at him not to call this # again and hung up. I do have caller ID and figured if I didn't answer they would keep calling. Luckily my phone company gives me the ability to block upto 30 calls so I was able to block these [***]. Check folks with your phone co and see if they have this option, I don't have to pay for it. Because I am a curious person I called the # and it said they couldn't connect me and to make sure I m calling the correct #.

Three calls in as many hours-- and my number's area code is nowhere near Connecticut.  I'd report them if I thought it would do any good-- though from the other reports these people might be legitimate (as opposed to spoofed # scammers, for whom violating the DNC is the least of their crimes.)

Calls and just hangs up never leaves a message

Calls frequently, twice in two days. Doesn't leave any messages.

I received calls   from  this  number  twice a  day  for  the  past  couple  of weeks . I never  answered . They  never  leave  a message .

I am in Connecticut and just got a call from this number.  I do not answer if I do not recognize the caller-ID, then if they do not leave a message I assume they are a telemarketer and I block the number.  So this number has been added to my blocked call list.

My phone number has been on the National Do Not Call Registry since August 2003 so if they are telemarketers, they are violating the law.

To block calls like this I got a Panasonic KX-TGE245B that allows me to block up to 250 numbers and/or area-codes.  Panasonic has several new 2014 models that will block that many numbers.  You simply save the CID to the blocked list.  You can also block area codes by adding them to what they call a “Range List” (you are blocking the range of numbers starting with that area code).

There are several types of call blockers & call blocking phones.  I suggest you get one so at least you only need to deal with any caller once.

very rude by hanging up and you get a recording when you call back directing you to a website to unsubscribe that doesnt work   I have better things to do with my time.

We've gotten at least 2 calls from this number - haven't answered most of them, but did tonight because they called after 9:00 p.m. which is against FTC regulations. Told the person to put our number on their DNC list - will see if they do - hope to never hear from them again

Received a call at 9:10 pm about taking a survey.

Just called at 9:26pm. I picked up phone and slammed it back down. So annoying for those of us that have to get up in the early am for work.

Never say hello!!! Some little girl said she was calling for an honest survey, yeah.

They have called me twice today, a Sunday no less. My ringer is off, but the calls showed up on the ID. I decided to call back, blocking MY number and got a recording that said they do surveys of products we buy, and directed me to a web site where I can stop them from calling. I got a page stating that the site doesn't exist!

i just resigned up on the do not call list.   doesn't work, they found a way around that system too.   been on that list for  2 years.  doesn't work

One, you NEVER have to re-register for the DNC list. Two, the DNC list is NOT a magic call-stopping switch and criminals aren't going to follow the laws anyways.

this number calls my cell constantly...and for some reason the call blocker I have installed doesn't work on this number; it's the only one it doesn't work on. SO ANNOYING.

I never answer unless I know the number, period.  Maybe we should ALL start answering these calls and answer all their questions with [***] YOU and nothing else.

They called last week 3 times on my cell and finally I answered and told them it was a private emergency only cell # and amazingly enough she was an American and apologized and I have not heard from her since. Then tonight at 9:20pm I see that same # on my home phone caller ID so I picked up but did not even breath so they hung up and I immediately blocked them as my landline company allows me to block up to 30 numbers at no charge.
