I got a call from this number on my cell phone at the very same time I got one on my home phone from (849)963-4865 about Medicare.

I just got a call from this number and when I called back I got a recording that the number had been disconnected.  How can that be?

Got a call when I called back the massage was disconeted or no longer in service.

Get calls and am tired of it.  Even tho I don't answer, they call.

They call me and when I call the number back it states the number has been disconnected.

Keep getting calls from this number.  They never leave a message, and when I've called back I get a message from the phone company that I have reached a number that has been disconnected or is no longer in use.  Obviously it is neither as I am getting called from this number.

Selling phony health insurance policies that don't pay for anything. The automated message says you can press 2 to be taken off their list. Fat chance! They called earlier today from 860-791-6715, too. Same bunch.

Health Benefits Alliance.  Pressed 1 for rep and got a VM to leave a message and they would call back...

I just called it back in hopes of using the "Press one" option discussed in other posts and it says the number is disconnected...How is a disconnected number calling??

I got the same message. It's been just a couple of hours since the call.

ALERT your friends, family and anyone you care about. Better yet alert the media. Most channels have a consumer fraud segment. Our local channels (ABC, CBS, FOX & NBC) have all done news articles exposing these types of insurance scams, so your next step after leaving a post here should be calling your local affiliate. Save someones grandmother from losing her savings or worse.

called back the number and it says that the number has been disconnected.  Really??? they called me less the a 1/2 a minute prior to me calling them back.

Numerous calls from this number and have asked to be dropped from the list. Still getting calls. Called back today and got recording that the number was no longer in service! How can they do that?

I have a couple of ways to deal with these parasites. First, I let the phone ring three full times before I pick up. I pick up and don't say anything for 2-3 seconds. If it is a computer autodialer, 80-90% of the time the computer will hang up thinking it has gotten a voice mail or answering machine. After 2-3 seconds, I say our company name, but don't give out my name. That way they don't automatically have a name if they call back and get someone else. If I still get a person and they insist, I tell them my name is "Richard Smith"(it's not). It is none of their business what my real name is, they are telescammers who are breaking the law. If they persist in calling over and over again, I tell them that my boss is available, and then I use a sports air horn right next to the phone. What are they going to do, sue me? "Your Honor, I was illegally telescamming and they deafened me!" Good luck with THAT argument. The judge might give me a medal. Reporting these "people"(I use that term loosely) to the Do Not Call Registry is futile, they are usually spoofing their phone number anyway. If you have the time, have some fun with them. See how long they will stay on hold or still be on the line if you put the phone down. Take your cordless into the bathroom and have an extended "deposit" at the Porcelain Bank, complete with very loud fake sound effects. Tell them you ARE the boss and listen to their sales pitch, never saying yes to anything, but always saying that you will look at your numbers and see what you can do. Some scammers will record any affirmative answer you give and then splice it into a call and bill you for whatever they are selling, using that as evidence of an order. Waste as much of their time as you can, because that keeps them from scamming other people, and it can be a really fun stress reliever! Anything that we can do to make this less profitable for these ticks on the butt of humanity is a plus. Feel free to pass this on or add to it with your fun ways of taking back your phone lines. If these idiots would get a real job, the world would be a better place for all of us.

I tried to call back the number....it aid I had reached a number that had been disconnected.  How can that be when they JUST called me 2 min. ago?

I received a call from 860~791~6718.  Per another site, these people work with a company called EngageTel  @  1-307-223-0458.  I called and listened to their voice msg and left my number and the number that called me.  She called back at once and said that this 860 number is an inactive number and someone is spoofing the number to make calls.  She suggests blocking the phone number so at not to get calls from it.  Hope this helps!

Constant calls from this number! When asked to be removed from their dialer they abruptly hung up on me! This has to stop. They have called me daily for months now
