Ok, they called me almost every hour of my time and day.  Whenever I pick up and they would hang up on me.  Finally they called back about 4 hours later and here goes this Indian accent.  So I got annoyed and bombarded him with questions.  I asked who are you?  What company are you from?  and Are you from India?  He called from AZ and the company's name is America Consumers....Anyways, I told him straight up it is a scam, he got mad and kept repeating himself that it is not a scam.  He got frustrated with me, I could tell he wanted to yell at me.  LOL

I have received 16 phone calls in about an hour. it is from new jersey. I told them not to call back but they still called, and you cant understand them and they are rude.

Hey, so I had a foreign guy start talking the first time I had picked up because I was getting calls durring school hours, and I had given my number to a robo call telling them NOT to call me anymore but have called me many times since. WDID?

I have received 5 calls from that number just today! Each time it is someone with a strong foreign accent. When I told them to stop calling and to put me on their "Do Not Call List" they proceeded to argue with me.

I finally answered and told them to stop calling and take me off their list and they asked me why i was not interesting?? and started yelling at me, I cant understand them and it actually scared me a bit. i have no idea how they got my number but I really irritated about it. I'm always pretty careful about my personal info.

10 times today..mostly hang ups...told them to stop calling 3 times...said i didnt give a darn what they were selling..they told me not to use this language with them..getting really annoying now

My phone number is on the Do Not Call but I received 10 calls from them today. They were calling on behalf of Max and Rewards promotion program. The call center is outside the US (most likely India). They were offering $100 rewards card that is good for the major stores (Target, Walmart, etc). They said I had to pay $2.95 for shipping and handling of the card. I gave them a fake card number and was finally transferred to the floor supervisor. He said once they have a valid card number they would transfer me to the verification officer (basically transfer from India to the US). He said the contact person was George Caron (or Heron) and the transfer number was 866-701-2681 and that the company is based in Phoenix, AZ. The supervisor was scared once I told him I was on the Do Not Call list and that I've dealt with the Attorney General of PA. I work in the telemarketing industry and I told him to stop the campaign immediately. If you get the call, go through the process, give them fake information and try to get as much information from them.

They got my number by posting a fake Craig's list ad.  They were offering a high end slightly used tv for dirt cheap and never replied but the next day bam here come the calls flooding in.

I got a new phone just for family emergency about a month ago and just 10-15 days after getting my phone, which only two people had the number, I started getting calls from this number.  The calls start from early morning to late at night.

I wondered maybe this is the # I am getting,it is annoying,guess they call canada as well..I have answered one of those long _______ &then someone talks..

The reason why we are all getting unwanted calls on our cell phones is that spam and scam companies use rotary dialers.  They simply plug in the first set of numbers using an area code and prefix and their computer starts dialing out.  When the first number dialed either picks up then disconnects, or after a certain number of rings, the computer simply dials the next number in sequence.  Unless you have a lot of time to waste reporting or blocking these numbers you should simply ignore them.  It's irritating but there you have it.
