I got a phone call from this number at 1:46 pm, I answered and it was a robocall. The caller claims to be from Google and was offering help to stop unwanted calls to my "business". I did not established or own a business. I told them I was not interested and not to call me again or I would report them to the Federal Trade Commission and hung up the phone. It is a scammer misusing someone's local phone number so that he/she can try to scam me.

This guy Kevin called from 865-205-1268 today . Told me he was a Google Partner and wanted me to pay $349.00 to keep my free Google listing on line . Told me my listing was flagged for removal ,and I'd I didn't pay up it will be removed from line . He also said he was going to send me a new Google verification number . Gave me his web address of main street marketing .com and Google popped it up as attackers are trying to steal your information . When I refused he became rude. This is a scam . Don't fall for this scam.

We just became a non profit a few days ago and we got a call from a lady claiming to work for Google and said that our Google listing would be removed if we did not pay a 1 time $299 "non profit" Fee?! LOL what these people have done is they purchased a 800 number that gets routed through this local number. I'm surprised that this same number has been allowed to operate as long as it has with out LAW ENFORCEMENT ACTUALLY PICKING UP THE PHONE AND MAKING A 5 MIN PHONE CALL TO THE PHONE COMPANY AND SUBMIT A WARRANT TO SHUT IT DOWN! Hint, instructions

No, what they have done is called "Caller ID Spoofing".  Maybe you should look it up?  Although I can't understand how you have never heard of it after all these years.  Which is also the reason they cannot be traced very easily, and especially not in a "5 MIN PHONE CALL".
