Im having the same thing happen to me from getting a grant CD for 2 bucks, but my thing is i went to iplanfinancial.com to cancel before the 7 day trial period and i get a charge on my account for $77.89 from A1 MEMBER. I don't who they are or whats going on i'm calling now to try to get a refund. I put the number in google and saw all these comments. Im really upset about this and i'm hoping i get to the bottom of it and get my money back.

No call but same thing. Ordered a $2 CD for grant info.(A1 member, DLY, grants, iplnfinancial.com aka google). We were charged $78.21 and the $2.87. We called the same number last week (b4 the 7 day cancel period) and spent about 1.5hrs on the phone with several different people. Found out they are just a call center in the Philippines and several different companies use them to process orders. This eventually lead to a supervisor and us receiving a cancellation confirmation. The money was refunded yesterday. Then today we were charged $38.65. lol. another long conversation with the same people, now they claim they are from freshkeywordideas.com. Same call center, same people. They said they will refund the money, we got another cancellation number. After they do I am cancelling my cards and submitting complaints with BBB, federal trade comission, attorney generals everywhere, google, all of the companies listed, etc.... Good luck to all... cancel your cards, submit complaints....

i'm so sick over this... i would recommend you re-check your iplanfinancial. com terms and conditions page. they probably signed you up for a "free trial" with blazingkeywords.com or freshkeywordideas.com. i had to call 5 different places to try to get charges reversed and memberships cancelled. when i called this number to try to get questions answered i got nothing -- "all circuits are busy, please try again later"

i've found though, if you're calmer... or crying instead of yelling, usually the operator you get is kinder, and more helpful. *sigh*

I didnt get a phone call got charged 72 dollars and now my account has gone neg.  I am F****** pissed.  If anyone has had to deal with this and has TCF as there bank  please reply to this.

Just a suggestion to everyone. I was also charged by both A 1 Members and also Store My Rewards, but these people also go by other names too. I called the numbers provided but got no satisfaction; this money was drawn right out of my bank account so I went to the bank and disputed the charges earlier this week and I checked my account this morning and the money has been returned to my account. These people are scammers and someone should shut them down before they scam a whole lot more people, some of whom will probably never know they were scammed because a lot of people don't even bother to check their bank or credit card statements.

We werealso charged$72.00 and have no idea what for.  Again it was A1 and I am on hold with no answer.

What a horrible thing to have to go through... I was actually on the phone this morning with "A1 Member" who deducted $72.96 out of my account after ordering this ridiculous google cd... While waiting for 20 minutes on hold I was reading through these posts, and amazingly enoughly the same thing happened to me! They asked to call me back and I clearly stated that this was not an option, so they put me on hold and hung up on me! I am trying the other numbers listed in this thread to see if I can get this resolved...ARGH

Never received a call just found an un authorized charge on my account for $72.95 Tried to call the number provided but no one ever answered. I stayed on hold for over 20min. SCAM

I'm so glad you posted this, stupid CD. You know Google and yahoo should stop letting these people advertise on their sites.

this is really a S**T case....my brother always told me there is never a quick way for easy money... I found out that a lot of numbers let you wait for a long time !!

Here is the information I have dug up about this "A1 Membership" company. In talking to my bank (GE Bank) I have discovered that the company is based out of Israel. I spoke to a man at the 866-200-5473 phone number. When I asked him for the name of his company, he hung up on me. I also spoke to a woman who claimed her name was Rosa and her employee number was 2118. She also refused to give me the name of the company she worked for. When I asked to speak to her supervisor, she told me that her supervisor was in an important meeting. I have had the same experience as you all have had. The initial charge on my account was for $1.97. My understanding was that it was for free information to be sent to me about an online business opportunity. I think I made a very big mistake in signing up for a certain merchant account, as well. Because this was fraudulent, then perhaps the merchant account also was fraudulent. I gave a lot of personal and financial information to sign up for that merchant account. BIG MISTAKE!!! I guess I'll watch and see what happens now. :(

I hope that you weren't stupid enough to send your bank statement! Then they will have ALL of your info...

I am glad i found this website. This site helped me out alot. I got charge $72.21 with a description with A1 Members. I called the Number: 1-877-208-6571. The guy on the phone helped me out. I just had to verify my information. The $72.21 is an insurrance that you will pay after the 30 day trial is over with. I guess i ordered the 1.99 make money with google thing. It was a pending transaction and when the Trial is over with you will be billed, according to the guy on the phone. I canceled my membership and got a cancelation number. hopefully in the next few days the charges will drop if not the guy says to call him back. Well this is my story and now i know now to not make that mistake again.

I too had this exact same thing happen. P*ssed me off to no end. This charge overdrew my account as well. When I called they stated that they can't give a refund for 24 hours and to call back on Monday and there is nothing they can do about the overdraft fees. Of course, I cancelled my card. When I asked for a supervisor they refused, telling me all supervisors are in a "very important meeting". I told him to drag one of them out of the meeting and get them on the phone - which he would not do. Now, being in the customer service industry, I know that any supervisor worth their salt would immediately leave a meeting to take care of an irate customer. But, of course, this didn't happen. Now, considering that this is a call center, I know that the company that hired them gets charged around $6.00 for every call that comes in. I encourage everyone to call them as much as possible. Just call to say "Hi" or "P8ss off" or whatever. If they are going to screw with our finances, we'll screw with theirs. (Plus, it's fun wasting their time).

Originally I recieved a phone call (for like 2 weeks) from Pleasant Grove Utah, phone number 801-785-2724. I finally answered it one day and it was some guy claiming he worked for some Google place and wanted to send me a CD to help me make money with Google. All I had to pay was shipping, which was only 3.95 and I'd recieve the kit within 24 hours. Its been 8 days, no kit, utah number says its not a working number and on my billing statement it says A1 Member billed me. I called the 800 number on my statement, spoke to 3 different people and all three claimed they had no idea what i was talking about. I must have the wrong company.... I'm so mad I could spit fire. Had to cancel my card so they wouldn't steal anymore money from me. Calling again Monday.... someone will refund my money. I think everyone thats been scammed by this company should get together and file a lawsuit. There has to be a way. I don't understand how they can continue to steal from people and not be closed down.

Idiots claim they have no clue how they got my money that I need to investigate this more because it wasn't them. They didn't know who A1 Members was my first call, 2nd call admitted they were A1 Member, 3rd call denied it again. Was told to call back Monday..... what a joke

After signing up for just $1.97 'Google-Chance to work from home',I decided a few days later that it's best to cancel this. By then they had already taken $69.00 out of my account that they said they would take out after 15-30 days of trial.  I immediately called and had them cancel that transaction after going through several people. They still have not credited this amount back as they said they would.
Now I can't find anyone to respond to the 866-200-5473 number to try to get my money back.  Just recording of their being closed and to call their office hours of 8-5-Mon-Fri. Mountain Time.  
WHEW!-These guys sound like really BAD CROOKS - which probably should be reported to the Better Business Bureau.
What a terrible way to learn a lesson and be constantly cautious of no matter who, especially when you think the company has a 'safe name'.

I didn't want anything from these people.... now I can't even find them. arrrgggh
