Recorded message from a man "James Parker from the processing department" claiming there are recent changes about federal student loan repayment options. Gives a call back number with area code 949 which is NOT the number that comes up as the incoming call, and then gives a four digit reference number.

Same thing just happened to me. I have no student loan. It's either Fraud or Spam.

Twice at a time.One from the girl and one from guy same exact message, No student loan. They need a real job instead of scamming. We all worked hard for our money.

A woman called about student loan and give a reference number and call back number starting with 949 this is 3rd call I got from her.

A robocall from UN-known  - student loan scam - A search shows this number to be a toll free number. They keep calling using a different new number after being told to remove my number from their call list and blocked.

I also got the same message. Don’t have a student federal loan currently. Fraud call.

You can call the FTC. Federal Trade Commission.
at #877 382 4357 & report it. They do appreciate it & can get these guys shut down very quickly with our help.

"Hello this is Holly Jones from the processing department with some great news about your federal student loan" Gave a different number to call back on. SCAM!  I am 79 years old and have never had a student loan!

Same recording as everyone else - "so-and-so from the processing department" with news/offers about my student loan (which I don't have).

These dumb people have been calling me for almost a month. They're lucky they get my voicemail. Complete fraud! Beware

Called me from ‭(866) 201-1282‬ and left the following:

“Hi this is Holly _⁠_⁠_⁠_⁠_⁠_⁠_⁠_⁠_ I'm calling from the processing department I'm so sorry if you're busy um I'm just calling with some really great news it looks like there's been some significant changes to your federal student loan repayment options so if you can give me a call back today that be great my direct phone number is 949-763-5396 again that's 94976353896 um if you can please have your reference number when you call _⁠_⁠_⁠_⁠_⁠_⁠_⁠_⁠_⁠_⁠_ awesome it's 50703 thank you again I look forward to talking to you later…”

I also received the same call from Holly Jones to call her at 949-763-5396 about my student loan Ref ID 50703.  My student loans were paid off 10 years ago.  I got it twice in the same morning from two different caller ID's 866-201-1282 and 262-546-8528.  I will be reporting these two numbers to 800Notes also.

Just got msg from same James Parker like everyone else listed above. I however will not only contact FCC but also FBI on this one.

I just got the same call twice in a row.

Coincidentally I am waiting for a call from my loan servicer and I thought these people were legit but when I called them and asked for their company name and some other questions they just kept saying they were the processing center or the enrollment center.  The girl told me that they would put together all the paperwork and everything for me to send over to the service provider for my student loans I got suspicious and called some other people and looked on Google and found this message board it totally looks like a scam to me.

Got 4 calls in a row! At my work number!  SPAM, JUNK, [***]!!
