Call from 866 number in the morning of Sept 11, 2008.
Long pause, I kept repeating "Hello...anyone there?"
Finally a weak male voice in English (without any accent), says "Sorry..wrong number" and he hadn't even asked for anyone or identified himself. I guess that my being a deep authoritarian male voice threw him a loop??!!

This Number Called my Cell Phone (1:07 p.m. Eastern Time), I kept saying Hello . . . the Person said something (not able to hear response) and call ends!  I was eating lunch in a busy place and could not hear what the individual was saying, returned call and recording answered saying, "this line is being updated!"

Somebody called on my cell phone on September 19 2008 at 10:10 AM.
Long pause, followed by a weak male voice in English (without any accent), says "Sorry.." and hangup. Maybe somebody is making money like that?

Same experience.
I got a call from the same no. I picked up the phone and no one responded.
Even I did the same thing and called them back. All I could hear is "This line is being updated".

male voice american accent called on my home line, Just said "hello, sorry wrong number" tried to call this number back however, got that this line was currently being updated? What is up with this? Are they seeing if anyone is home?
