i get the calls as well. They are very annoying. It is some telemarketing company. I even tried being extremely rude to them but they keep calling

They call 3 or 4 times a day. They didn't call me at all on Sunday. I called them back and it answered, " You've reached a Promotional Company. If you no longer want us to contact you, press 1. (so i did) Please enter your ten digit phone number (so i did). Twelve to Thirty days to be entered on the do not call list." They are very annoying. They call my Rogers cell phone.

I am so sick of these calls  here are the numbers i have recorded calling me several times a day and hang up!

I as well have a rogers phone and have contacted rogers and they say there is nothing they can do unless i add the blocker on my phone which makes my restrictions my choice but if these guys call from different numbers it wont help. I have punched in my 10 digit number every time they call to remove my number. GRRRRR since July 13 i have had over 20 calls and they do not call on weekends.

If anyone finds an end to this or a number to talk to some one or scream please post...

O Lord, it seems like there is no answer reading your guys' messages.  I miss the calls most of the damn time but when I do answer no one sayssays anything, I get beeping in my ear and then dead silence.  I've tried to unsumbscribe multiple times aswell...all usless.  I'm not giving up though.  I will find away or at least look ridiculously hard to an answer to this for us.  Cuz seriosuly, they are annoying :@

Alright people, not done yet.  They will hear and ear full of my nastinest lanugage yet, lol.  Anyways if you are canadaian the national do not call number and website are listed below.  However, they only block candian numbers.  I don't know where theses jerks are from but it's worth a shot right?

For my american friends, try this:

Write a letter to Telephone Preference Service, Direct Marketing Association at P.O. Box 9014, Farmingdale, NY 11735-9014. Provide your name, address and home telephone number and say that you do not want calls from any telemarketers. Be sure to sign the letter and keep a copy.


Came straight from a website I researched.  Again, worth a shot.

They wanted to give me air miles plus some kind of gift card for answering 5 questions. I answered the first few then told them I'd rather not answer any more. I ended up having to hang up on them while he was in mid-sentenece. He asked age range, year of graduation after that I said none of their business... but they still kept babbbling... what are my hobbies... They called back today. Darn.

I got 3 calls on July 21, then 2 yesterday and 1 this morning. I missed picking up 2 of them but the rest, I would get hung up on when I answered!
I also have a Rogers cell phone and I don't know how they got my number but Yesterday I put my number on the National Do Not Call List and I had to call this number back a couple of times to be able to get on their do not call list.  The calls are supposed to stop in 30 days.
I believe this to be an American Company (I tried reverse lookup for both Canadian and American whitepages.  I could have bought a phone report from the U.S. but there was nothing from Canada.)

I got a call from 866 201 2930 last week and ignored it, then it called 1 hr later and I answered. A man said he was calling from CanReed (Can Reid?) I believe and that he just wanted to do a survey that took a couple of minutes and was I between 20 and 35 years old or 50 to 65 years old. something strange and random like that. I didn't answer his question I told him I was at work and I couldn't talk right now and tried to let him go. He said it was only 4 questions doesn't take long I said still I am at work and cant talk, even if I could I am not interested in listening to him or doing a survey anyway and I had to go. It has been a week now that this # CONTINUES calling me 3-4 times a day even though I said I wasn't interested. Thanks for the tip, I just called back their toll free number, pressed 1 for not wishing to receive more calls, and typed my 10 digit number. Lets see now if by the end of the month they stop calling!
