    Screen on browser said virus warning and to "contact Microsoft Tech" for assistance with this number. Clearly a scam since this is not a number to a MS facility, and they wouldn't contact anyone that way.

    This phone number is a scam.  It is not Microsoft, and if you check the IP Address or address bar of the web browser, you will notice it did not come from Microsoft, but in my case, the IP Address came from Greece.

    Close your browser, run a virus/spyware scan and ignore the webpage, its completely fake (they'll charge your credit card monthly if you give it to them).
