They called looking for my whereabouts and left a threatening message.  Is this a scam?

This number just left a message about an "official complaint" against an unintelligible machine-generated name that was clearly not mine.  No identification of who it was, or under what authority they are calling; if it was an "official complaint," presumably the person calling would want to speak to me directly without having to have a robot generate the name.  Blocking the number.

They just called one of my family members, my job and also my new number  asking my where abouts!! WTF  state iing they where a company that i owe money too, and that i was goin to be sue. going to contact the police asap

I got the same and i even talk to a guy asked me for my  last number of my SS they called my job and also my family member plus my new phone number. had this same issue last year stateing i was getting sue dor a company because i didnt pay back i loan i got back in 2010. which never happand

got a call saying they where calling about an "official complaint" then said some guys name Ricky something.

A man who identified himself as Trofim V. called me and told me that he is part of the Russian Committee for State Security & Communism and was contacting non-white / non-Republican Party members who would like to receive a 3 week all expenses paid trip to Volgograd in Russia. Trofim stated to me that the purpose of the trip is to give Americans a better understanding of the Russian Government and their state & foreign policies. He also stated that part of the trip involved as 30 minute meet & greet with staff members with the Russian Ambassador. I told him right away that i was not interested nor did i feel comfortable speaking about the topic. At the end of the conversation, He stated that the tour also involved a "Pep-Rally" with 400 fellow Americans and The current U.S. President Donald Trump. He said that they will have a confirmed date once the event meets it's capacity level. I said again to him that i am not comfortable with this topic and i immediately hung-up.

Called our business and hung up when we answered. CID only said "TOLL FREE".

this guy called my step father asking him they were looking for e for some complaint said he was an detetive called number they siad it was about a online load i did and never paid it back but i have never asked for a loan online or anywhere else because i cant afford to pay it back

Yes it is.  If they called you they must have more information on you.   But they are trying to get still more.  Ignore and block the calls.

Funny how your call involves Mr. Trump and the Russians, and everyone else's is about a bad loan/official complaint. Ugh.
