Yes, they also use the number 866-896-7987 and direct people to call 866-204-0484. I got part of a similar message on my cell phone voice mail. I'm not going to call back, but if they call me when I have time to deal with them, I'm going to keep them on the phone as long as I can. I don't know how much patience they will have but I've worked in a call center (inbound customer service, not an annoying sales job) and shouldn't have much trouble with a scammer. I'll try to record the call and put their sorry butts on YouTube too. (For the curious armchair lawyers out there, I live in a state where only one party is required to consent to the recording of a call, so no legal issues to worry about there.) Anyway, every minute I keep them talking to me is a minute they aren't scamming a vulnerable adult somewhere else.

So anybody trying to figure out if (866) 204-0484 is a scam, it seems that it likely is, at least as of the date of this post. Likewise, the same applies to (866) 896-7987.

There's no point in posting that here. The number seems to be operated by a scam company -- it is unlikely they are reading a site where people report on scams from particular numbers.

It's a scam. Don't give them any info they don't already have, and don't confirm anything they do have, and don't correct anything they have wrong.

I just received a call from this number: 866-896-7987 and there was a voicemail left, automated sounding seemed broken/missing script as they were wanting to know the whereabouts of someone, but that piece of information didn't get recorded in voicemail.  Sounds like the same call as Jem's.  03/09/2017 @ 10:19 AM

Sounded like debt collection, wanting to know whereabouts of someone, but the voicemail didn't capture that part of automated script.
