Cardnal??? Cardinal who?? Payday loan scam!!! Threatened to forward to my local sheriff when that IS NOT how debt works in my State. What a DUMB ASS! Watch out this is major BS and NOT a valid debt collector.

I got a call from some woman named Clare trying to verify a package for a MR. Charles Scholar. When I called back the lady that answered was not the same one who left a voicemail and she refused to tell me the companies name and told me that it was none of my concern why this Charles [***] has my damn phone number. If my identity gets stolen I am calling my [***] lawyer. This is a scam and needs to be removed.

this is a scam, calls to ask to verify info to deliver a package, they are calling family members of ours trying to verify one person's personal info.  Called back and they won't give the name of the company or what type of business they are. They asked for my name and when I wouldn't give it they said they can't help me and then hung up

I had a call from the same lady, she left a voicemail. I called the number back and a gentleman answered... he would not tell me the company's name and when I provide the number in which they had on file,  for my ex husband, he typed it into the computer then hung up on me.
When I called back to ask WTF, no one answered.

Typical scam. Certainly is not a collection agency nor is who they say they are a real company. Cardinal. They are not to bright especially after you call them out and the response is "[***] you [***]" and hangs up. Pieces of crap in our society. No one ever does and Nutting to stop scams like.this.
