They calling from spoof numbers about google listing scam

Called to collect money on behalf of Google. Not sure if they are related to google.

Calls my business daily about a Google listing asking for information about my business. Scam call.

Caller claims they are from Google my Business. Tries to get a one time payment for your business to be permanently listed. Very suspicious! Beware!

Called our business, about Google listing, asking for one time $299 payment.

Refused to speak with anyone at the business except the 88 y.o. owner, even though I handle all marketing, Google, Instagram, etc. Google My Business is in my name, not hers. Obviously trying to scam her.

What is is they are trying to scam you on  They would eventually ask you for money?  Or personal information?  Just checking what this particular scam is trying to get out of someone.

If you had kept on reading you would have gotten an answer.  I don't know why people think that "personal information" is worth so much money.  I also don't know why you would think that business information is "personal".

OMG! My Google listing has expired!. How will my customers ever find me?

They called again today

The people behind this number are now calling from other spoofed numbers. Trying to get you to pay for your Google search listing which is expiring otherwise your customers won't find you. Yet I don't have any such listing, am not a business, and don't have customers! It's just a scam trying to get your credit card or bank account info. Don't fall for it, block the call, and report it to your carrier and the FTC.

The old Google listing scam

Received a call regarding our "Google Account" has been flagged and people looking for your company won't be able to find you. SCAM - RUN FOR THE HILLS. I work with a large company which we also report on scams. This has SCAM all over it. Our website goes through a corporate website and if it really was legit, Corporate would work with Google directly which would accomplish everything for each of our locations, internationally.

BigA I'm not sure if you meant by ...."why people think that "personal information" is worth so much money". If you meant as risky to give out you're correct. If you meant why people are trying to get your personal information it's for taking the money for a task they are not doing, then selling your information on the dark web for a lot of money. That person who gave their information would start getting calls, emails etc. from different scammers using different types of scams and/or ID theft. Your personal info is worth a lot.

Sure, scammers can make money selling info, but it is not worth anything unless it is confirmed to be accurate.  You can do a little research with simple search engines and produce tons of  personal info on any given person, but much is out dated or simply inaccurate.
As far as this scam goes, they are looking to steal money by pretending to list your business by selling you a website and/or promise of a high rank on Google. Some will impersonate your business name to pull scams or hide malicious files on the victims who they might make a website for.
This type of scam is geared more towards scamming a business and not so much towards an individual's personal info.

On Wed 9 June 2021 at 2:58 PM local NYC time, I received a voicemail from 917-451-6317, in a machine female voice, asking me to verify my business's Google listing, blah blah blah, or call their customer service at 866-204-4885 (the number for this listing on 800notes).  I am blocking & reporting both numbers.
