A man called and left a voicemail saying, his name was Derek Reed and was attempting to locate Jeanette...and to call him back. I don't think so!

Called from private number.  Left message to call him back directly at 8662046855. Called back twice got hung up both times while waiting to find who called me. The voicemail stated the need to speak with me or attorney representing me. But I haven't received anything official by mail so. That's strange to me. Glad I found this site

Just got a phone call from Rob Currier looking for a family member of mine. "Rob" also called my mother, father, and other members of the family and left a message stating he was a currier (Rob could have came up with a better last name lol")  and was dropping off important documents regarding an upcoming case. Asked for liscence blah blah blah and also ended with " Consider yourself warned". He also had wrong address. I immediately looked up the number and saw it was a scam and called them back to let them know we know they are a bogus company and are being reported. Sick people out there. Be aware!

There are two posts on that page, one of them before the post you replied to and one after.  Did you try reading them, because if you had you would have gotten the answer to your question.

I am constantly receiving calls from these imposters impersonating themselves as a legal personnel from unified. They say they are with the Bank of Delaware. The funny thing is I have no idea who these people are how they got my phone number. This is ridiculous !

Just got a blocked call, didn't answer. VM left was a man desperately trying to sound important and official. Saying his name is Robert Curry, a courier in the town I live in (original last name huh? I guess Robert Douchbag was already taken), said he's going to be at my home  between 11-12PM today, and to "BE THERE" in a very threatening voice, with an ID to get my sealed documents. If I need to reschedule to call 866-204-6855. So here we go again, about 2x per year I get this [***] and then all my family will start texting me to let me know they've received calls looking for me. They know by now it's a huge scam. I even get them in my office, I contacted my IT dept to have them blocked and they told me others here get them too, which made me feel a little better. If I submit a ticket they can get it blocked. To say I LOATHE these scum bags would be an understatement. I hope when the world finally end via Trump they will be left here to slowly rot to death

Received a call from an unknown number "Rob Curray" at 1228 stating that he was a private Currier in the area and was confirming deliver today at (my address which was only half right) Stated he had a "field notice" that he is scheduled to have me sign today and to make sure I am home with proper state issued ID and that he would "see me" within the hour and said if I needed to reschedule contact the "fling party" directly at 1-866-204-6855 and to "consider myself notified ad be sure to have ID, I'll see ya shortly"

*** Well, looks like I will be reporting this company to the FTC and consumer finance as well. Anyone with any sense knows that if you are going to actually be "served" they do not call ahead of time to warn you, they want to catch you off guard. This is such BS, too funny..... they violate the FDCPA left and right, I used to be a collection agent for a living, I know my rights. If you are getting these kinds of phone calls report them it's the only way to get them in any kind of trouble for violating the law.

How to Stop Debt Collector Harassment

Under the law, what is considered harassment and how can you stop it? Learn more about what qualifies as debt collection harassment. If you are being harassed, use the steps below to end the harassment:

File a complaint with the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau. If you’ve done your research and have found the collection agency to be in violation of the FDCPA, the next step to take is to file a complaint with the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau. The CFPB is an independent government agency responsible for enforcing the laws and regulations that regulate the consumer finance industry. As their name suggests, they seek to protect the consumer from corrupt financial practices and will take your complaint straight to the company responsible.
File a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission. The Federal Trade Commission is another government agency in the federal sector that enforces debt collection laws. Again, they seek to protect the consumer, but also to promote fair competition within the financial markets by ensuring that the laws are properly upheld. Not only do they enforce such regulations, but the FTC also has a hand in making the policies that govern the consumer finance market.
Contact your state’s Attorney General. In addition to the FDCPA, each state may have it’s own laws about debt collection. To find out more about the laws in your state, contact your Attorney General. If you find that the debt collector in question appears to be breaking your state-specific laws, then you may file a complaint with the Attorney General as well.
Finally, you can file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. While it is not a government associated agency, the Better Business Bureau is a non-profit organization that works alongside businesses in all industries to promote ethical, trustworthy business practices. They serve as an unbiased authority on which businesses are widely respected and reach the highest standards of performance. If you are having an issue with a collection agency or debt collector, you can report the behavior to the BBB here.

Some guy trying to sound like a big dog.  With his pseudo intimidating voice flapping his yapper about I should do XYZ or this and that could happen.  I told him he was a loser and to crawl back under his rock.  That type of approach never works with me but I can see how others might get nervous.  Don't worry about these monkeys.  Karma is hunting them down as we speak.  Have a peaceful day.

And THIS IS NOT a debt collector.  I don't have any debts.  This is a low life, pond scum, group of scammers that are literally the dregs of the Earth.  So desperate for money that they don't care what kind of emotional chaos they create or who they are doing it to.  Slaves to money and working bottom of the barrel telemarketing schemes.  Truly bottom of the barrel.  Don't give them a dime but do pray for them that they reap what they have sown.
