Scam - saying must sign legal documents and will  be coming to home later.  Leaves number and reference file number to call.  Threatens and references future actions if refused.  Complete scam.

Left voicemail at my work, saying legal documents I needed to sign. Gave me a 2 hour window to be at my residence with 2 forms of ID and a witness to the signature, or they would mark me as "refusal to comply". Gave the phone # and a case #.

Did they give you any info?

Reciveved similar call, with a voice mail with return phone and document number.  No mention of company or orginazation they were with, but person calling did give their name.  Call originally came up as "Unknown Caller."  Didn't give a time frame, but said they'e be at my door 'today.'  Also amused that the person calling couldn't give their phone number correction and stumbled over it (though what did stumble over makes me thing they have my DOB (and correct street name, but no mention of city/state) in front of them because my DOB is close to the middle 3 digits of their return #.  Did say something about forwarding the docutments back to a county I used to live in.  Not sure if that was a Google Voice transcription error, because she was speaking so fast at the end of the message.  Without leaving a Company or Organizational name though, I'm not calling back.  Scam vibes all the way from me.

I just had the same experience; man in a gruffy voice saying that he had a legal document from a company called 'LWG' and gave me the same contact number to call. He said that he had a legal document for me to sign; thankfully I am at work and he had my old address. I acted as if I was 'my sister' and that "I" was in the bathroom. I asked if he was at my residence and he told me that he was close by; quite scary. Imagine if he had my correct  address and  I did happen to be home; then what? He said he was courier.

I am going to google 'LWG' to see what comes up.

A man left a message on my voicemail.  He said he had some documents that were sealed and had to be hand delivered to me and that he could not leave them in the mailbox--that I would have to be home.  He rattled off an address that was not mine.  He said he would be out to my home between 3 and 5 pm and that I should call this number if I couldn't meet or if I had questions.  Needless to say, I did not call this number back.  Only one called received and message left.
