I got a phone call from a blocked number, who left me a voicemail telling me that they needed to me contact the "filing party" at this number to provide a signature, with 2 witnesses, & a form of ID. Said I needed to respond by the end of the day.
I have no idea what this might be about, but they used my legal name in the voicemail.

I called the number. They are basically a collections agency, but possibly also someone who has the ability to file charges if you don't pay? I dunno, they had the right legal name, wrong social security number. They apparently didn't do their homework before calling to harass me.

Collection agency calling with threats and an  invalid case number on a civil complaint for not making payments/breach of contract. They contacted my son FIRST!

A message was left on my machine.  “This message is for _____ _____. I’m contacting you regarding legal documents that require your signature.  Make yourself available in the next hour.  If you are not available at your home address, I will stop by your place of employment.  If you are not at work, I will send them back as undeliverable and proceed forward on the matter without you.  If you have no idea what this is  or what is going on, I recommend you contact the filing party before signing for anything.”  They then left the phone number and a file number.

This is a scam. Real process servers don't call in advance and they don't give you the option to pay your way out of being served, which is what they'll tell you if you call them. Just block and ignore such calls.

My husband received a call from this #, they asked him did he know me lol. They proceeded to share my “case #” and said that I had a court appearance in 30 minutes and they wanted to be sure I didn’t miss it?!?! What???? I’ve not received any kind of government documentation stating that I had to appear in court on this date at this time. This is just a debt collector trying to use scare tactics! Block the number guys!

Left voicemail from anthony at 4:26 PM stating I needed to make myself available between 12 and 5 pm to sign legal documents.  If I wasnt hi me then he was coming to my job and I needed a supervisor or human resources witness. This is not the first time I've had a person try to do this to me. Scam!

They left me the exact same message today 9/18/18.

Got the exact same thing. They called me, looking for my son, "legal documents, 2 pieces of ID, a witness, by the end of the day, etc." It didn't sound right, but he could be overdue on bills or something. I told him about it, he called the number, and figured out it was [***], and the guy hung up on him. I would love to meet this guy in a dark alley sometime !!!!!!

Abusive and threatening voicemail left for me from this number, it’s either a massive scam they are running or a collection agency illegally and unethically trying to collect by threatening. They are going to be investigated accordingly, FINALLY CROSSED THE WRONG ONE

I did not know who this was at all  I know it is a threat I believe But I don't know what I have done  The man Left no address  And it had to be done today I get no what I had done  Although I am in legal matters with my attorney handling it all  And I have been patiently waiting for the superior court date  I don't know if I will get blindsided   But now I know that this man and his crew  Is coming after me in some Kind of dirty way  I was shock I can't believe this call  I'm thankful that other people wrote information down to help me   I don't know how to use the phone that well but thank you to all of you that posted this on your phone  And I understand a lot better  This man hung the phone up on me profusely as if he was really mad  Then I know I have been really good to women  And respectful to everybody  Who the h*** does this kind of work  Anyway I guess I just have to wait  Because I just happened to be at the store getting $25 in groceries Thank you to all of you

I got a call left voice mail telling me basically the same info as the others stated. I called back and got transferred to a voicemail and hung up on.
