They called today stating they were serving me tomorrow between three and five either at my home or work. For a debt I have no knowledge of. By law I am allowed for proof of debt and validation within 30 days of contact. When I requested this they told me by law they didn’t have to provide me with that and hung up. The gentleman then asked for my address, but you said you serving me tomorrow. (Red Flag) Then when you call back someone picks right up no prerecorded system like all business have. They told me the debt was $3000 but willing to settle for $870. Please always ask for proof. By law they have to give you time, especially when the debt is a decade old and you have never heard of this until that day.
