Dishonest weasels. Claim to represent Dish Network ,in order to lower you're monthly bill.  After going over an amazing number of options, turns out to be Direct T.V. , trying to slam your account

Just got same call. Said they were my original installer of my Dish (this was over 19 years so of course I believed him....NOT)
They were going to lower my bill. When I told him " if I wanted Dish's service, I would call them .If I wanted my bill lowered,I would call them".  He said "Oh, ok" then hung up!

they were right dish never do anything for their ld cstmers.......but now i switch to directv and they are taking a good care of me .....thanks to this 8662049669 no.

They really wanna help us. Dish never care for an old customer, this is the only reason they wanna switch to directv to give us lovely promotion. Thanks to them, they are really nice guy. Directv is the number one service provider. Dish ruin me financially.

i got the same call from the same no. they explained me everything and i liked the plan but i wanted to verify weather they are real people so before going with it   i called them back verified each and everything. i know that people can do business
with both company i mean dish and direct.but how i don't know. now i am happy with all my game channels and everything.

Thanks 8662049669, you guys are really helpful. They lowered my bills by switching me to directv. I'm getting the same channels and programming but channel numbers would be different except the locals. Hats off to these guys

i got a call from roger and it sounded good but they tried to shaft me once and i have never paid 20 dollars for conformation before.

Caller wanted to lower my monthly Dish Network bill.  Asked how much I paid monthly and I had to inquire several times to find out what company he represented.  He gave me some ridiculously low price if I changed to Direct TV for 1 year.  He wanted to charge $22 to my credit card to set up an appt for installation.  I told him I didn't give my card number when I didn't initiate the call.  He acted irritated and told me to buy a pre-paid MC or Visa and he would call back.  Never heard from him again. Caller was pleasant but had annoying accent.

You r right my frnd.. I switched back to directv only to save my dollars. Initially I was reluctant to change my SP as I have been long with dish (approx. 10 yrs), but savings does matter to survive in this economy. Hence took my decision at right time..

got a call from a Dan Ray said he was the first guy to install our  Dish Network. Said he was affiliated with work  Dish Network. Bad experience. Don't trust.

Calls and when you answer will not say anything.

I just got a call, no make that 5 calls, 4 in 4 minutes, from 866-204-9669.  No message on answering machine.  I answered on the 4th call.
Someone from Pakistan, or India, or some Asian country claiming to be "Roger" and that he set up our Dish Network long time ago.  It is strange they should call, I just paid my bill.  He kept asking if I was happy with my bill.  Is anybody?
I knew right away that this was a scam and I told him I didn't have time for his crap.
After hanging up, he called back immediately (5th call).  I answered and dead air, then he hung up.
This is a Direct TV scam and those posting here about good experiences are full of crap.
1st, if you have to pay a fee, don't do business with them!
2nd, Direct TV will give you a great rate and then suddenly you will be paying double or more.
3rd, Dish has never scammed me.  Don't trust a company that is underhanded!
