Don't want calls from this number

This number is connected to Alliance for Northwest Jobs and Exports. You can request to be added to their Do Not Call List by pressing "1" when you call them back after

I have had repeated calls from this number,  I don't accept these kinds of calls so requested I be taken off their list---3 times.  I have now received 10 calls in the past week.  I blocked the number but they still call.  This is war calling and I thought it was illegal.  I have no idea what they want but I want them to leave me alone.

this has to be some kind of telemarketer or scam.  please do something to stop these calls!

Here's a tip......if you don't recognize the number, DO NOT answer or let you machine answer. Every time you answer one of these calls, you are telling the scammers they have reached a good number and will continue to call you. When you press "1" to get off their list, that does absolutely nothing.....they will continue to call you.  If you don't answer, after 1 or 2 calls they will go on to those who love to get these calls......so DO NOT answer!!!!

they call everyday.  all different times, thanks god for caller ID. but it is getting annoying now. cause Some of my family members work nights. and when they sleep. the ring wakes them. I would like them to stop

These people call every day at a variety of times, morning, noon,  and evening!  This morning, they called early enough that they woke me up!  They have called three times today. I am on the "National Do Not Call Registry" and I do not answer any phone calls from phone numbers that I do not recognize.  They never leave a message!  

I have never answered a phone call from this number.  They never leave a message. They have been calling my house multiple times a day for weeks!  I noticed your advice "If you don't answer, after 1 or 2 calls they will go on to those who love to get these calls...so DO NOT answer!!!!"  Well, I have never answered, they have been calling for days, and they are not stopping!  While I appreciate your advice and while it does work for most unwanted phone calls, it is not working for calls from this particular number!

My phone is on the do not call list.  I have had numerous calls trying to sell me tools.  I do not want their business.

Almost got me..answering machine got it but at the beginning it recorded "please pick-up" ....desperate sounding female..perhaps a new strategy ? But I googled it and here I am....

Get a police whistle and answer the call. Make sure it is them then blow on whistle as hard as you can.

My experience is that simply not answering does not work for any of the calls.....they just keep on & on.  I block each one but my phone only blocks a total of 20 numbers at a time.  I keep it full ALL the time and when a new one calls (many times one that has been blocked previously), I have to delete one number in order to add the current unwanted one.  Also, so many of these places, in particular the one ID'd as "CARD SERVICES" and similar names, uses so many numbers that it's impossible to block them all..

I agree wholehearted with you that the scammers will NOT stop if you don't answer their calls. If the government would enforce the DO NOT CALL LIST (BTW, I'm on it), and charge large fees for violations, they could use the funds toward paying down the national debt.  Of course, anything resembling common sense doesn't "go over" these days.

I also called back and pressed 1 to be added to the Do Not Call list!  Let's see what happens.
