The funny thing is according th the federal Fair Debt
Collection Practices Act (FDCPA), 15 U.S.C. §§ 1692 et
seq.Automated callers and computer dialers are PROHIBITED. Period.

So according the the LAW, U.S. LAW they are in the wrong regardless of what they are trying to collect. Contact an attorney. This company has already los tseveral cases accordingly with the exact same methods in U.S. District Court in Illinois already.

BY LAW, someone calling to collect a debt must give their FULL NAME adn the Collection Agency they work for it is the law.

If they have your phone numbe rto call you they have your mailing address, by law if you request written documentatino IN WRITING they must provide it. IF they do not they are in violation of Fair Debt
Collection Practices Act (FDCPA), 15 U.S.C. §§ 1692 et seq.

IF they do not provide requested information within 30 days of notice they are aslo in violation.
The tactics this compnay uses to collect a debt are exctly the reason the FDCPA was drafted in teh late '70's. THey are "old school" adn are breaking the law by not giving you the requested information, by not plainly identifying themselves when they call.

Get 4-6 calls on cell phone weekly, claim they are a debt collector for medical debt, ask for SS# & DOB, I refused to give or confirm information, puzzling part is I have not had any medical services in over 25 years that wasn;t covered by insurance or paid in full by myself.

Got a call for a Patricia Rolf from 866-207-8464.  I've been contacted in the past from this company before about collection for medical debt. I don't think I need to be contacted for debt that belongs to someone else. The call was not from a "live body" it was automated calling.  This was the same type call that I got from another phone number of 877-502-2141. CB Accounts has been bought out by another debt collection company.

didnt get any calls as i have moved out of state but i do have a boggis debt on my credit score from c b accounts for $1,276 need help to get it off!!!!
