a fake law firm out of philadelphia trying to collect on fake website debts

Got a call from this number, they even left a message. I just deleted it cause I don't owe debit to anyone. Ronda Smith was the name used.. Be careful with your info. People SUCK!!!

Got a call from this firm. To supposedly be professionals, they are the rudest people I've ever spoken to. Turned their collection call over for my insurance agent to handle.

Returned a call to this company and spoke to Rhonda Smith.  What a rude individual.  She ended up hanging up on me.

my husband just got a call from this number and they said there was a legal complaint against the company and we haven't seen a letter or nothing...

Called came in as "UNAVAILABLE" on caller id 8:59AM (A real go getter)

1) I KNOW it's potentially going to be a $cammer.
2) I answered.......Got a live person.
3) ALL they said was 'IS THIS SECOND CHANCE?"
4) WHAT?
5) "IS this NOT SECOND CHANCE?" sorry...then hangs up!

They are debt collectors.  Called me regarding ASCAP balance due.

The same person "Jack Hanna" calls from this number and is rude and short when speaking to the office manager and always ask for the owner stating it is in regards to Workmens comp and to call immediately. They do't answer when called.He states he is an attorney.

I got a voice message from this number (866-208-0114), from Marisol Velez of the Tenaglia and Hunt law firm, for an outstanding balance owed by the company I work for, to their client UPS-SCS.

What impressed me was the ABJECT RUDENESS of Marisol, from the very second she picked up the phone, all the way through to the end.  As soon as she answered the phone, she took a big exasperated breath, before even saying hello! I gave her my case number, and before she could finish saying, "Hold on" she had already put me on hold. I was trying to get information about this outstanding debt (invoices, etc) because it was truly the first I'd heard about it, and she was unhelpful, condescending, impatient, nasty and rude. Her last parting statement to me was, "Have a good ..." but before she could finish the sentence, she'd already hung up.  She promised to email me a statement of invoices so I could investigate on my end, but so far, I haven't received anything.

If she were my employee, I'd have her fired immediately.  I wanted to leave a review somewhere, and this site is where a google search of the number led me.

I looked up Tenaglia and Hunt and it does seem to be a real firm, so I called the number on the website (855-396-4234) to verify and the firm DID know about my case number, but only very minorly, and said I'd have to go through the other number to resolve any issues.  It seems the 1-866-208-0114 office is some sort of branch of the company ... not really part of it, but maybe a branch who does dirty work.

The company I work for had some issues in the past with unpaid invoices due to a key person in the AP department  leaving abruptly with no backup, so this COULD be a real deb that we owe, and not a scam, as it's been reported in other posts. I will continue to follow up with this company and compare records from UPS-SCS; if it's real, we'll pay the debt owed.

SCAM- This company is working with another firm, they are collecting fake debts. I asked for a copy of the Fedex invoice, they said our company owed, they cannot produce any documentation. Very rude..

Did you ever get this resolved or have any other dealings with Marisol Velez? She has been leaving messages for me on our voicemail.

Unfortunately the FDCPA does not cover commercial collections.  You can send her a certified, return receipt cease and desist communications letter, but I am not sure what they will do at that point.

SCAM! Received a call from Jack Hannah (ext 2033) attempting to collect a debt on behalf of quill.com with the law offices of Tenaglia and Hunt. I googled the actual company and called them. They said the call I received was a scam. With further research i found that this number is out of Mexico. Don't answer and block their calls.
