Scammer claiming to be "Cashapp fraud protection"

Stating that a cash app transaction an providing customer service number 866 212 0142

866-212-0142 Received a message that a cash app transaction was about to occur. Upon calling, I was told I reached the cash app fraud department.

Scam. I called my bank, who confirmed this is BS.

You took the time to look up a known phone number & praise a "very good company" but gave no actual information about them. Why is that? As a shill, you're a very poor one.

Pretending to be cash app fraud department and told me to call this phone number when cash app doesn’t have live representatives.

Received call stating don't do any transactions on cashapp before calling this no. 708-801-7275. The call came from 888-840-1932.

Got a text stating :
Cash App : A Transaction is in process for $312.98 from your Cash App account. If this transaction was not authorized by you, please contact the Cash App Fraud Protection Department at 866-212-0142 If you authorized this transaction disregard this message.
Biggest issue with this reasoning is that I don't have a Cash App account...

At 1 p.m., I received a message stating that my "Cash App sign-in number was nnn-nnn."

At 5 p.m., I got a text message saying that "A Transaction is in process for $312.98 from your Cash App account. If this transaction was not authorized by you, please contact the Cash App Fraud Protection Department at 866-212-0142 If you authorized this transaction disregard this message."

Biggest issue with this SCAM is that I don't have a Cash App account...

Scam. Received a text stating a transaction on my Cash App is in process and to call this number for fraud protection. She asked for the code just sent to my phone which also stated “no one representing Cash App will ever ask for this code over the phone”
