Wanting to confirm my social security number through an unsolicited call...No Way

Proports to be BBVA Compass Bank
According to the REAL Bank it is not them
SCAM CALL

I missed 7 calls from this number in a 2 minute span.

Claims to be Compass Bank trying to get personal information. They are NOT Compass Bank.

It came thru via fb messenger where no calls not from an actual fb account friended should be coming from. Robo voice staying "Please stay on the line to reactivate your service." Bailed.

Automated Call claiming to be Compass Bank, I waited on the line for a "live representative" after 10 minutes of waiting to speak with a representative--finally a recording comes on stating no one was available....REALLY!!  I also did a 3 way call with a REAL BBVA/Compass Bank Rep and the so called BBVA automated 866#, The real rep stated they were not aware of (866)212-0603.  Customer Service Rep also stated do not provide any information.

Please stop calling

This number called my husbands cell phone, which isn’t tied to our BBVA account.  An automated message claiming to have important information asked for the last 4 of his social to continue.  Verified with BBVA customer service this is not them and they would never use an automated call.

I have received many calls from this number. They want to talk to me about a delinquent account or account issue through BBVA. I don’t have any delinquent BBVA accounts. I called customer service and was told this number was not associated with BBVA. They told me not to sure any information with these people. The mailing address and email address they provide is legitimate so it is very confusing.

Said from BBVA bank. " If you don't want more attempted calls you need to call us back!" Unreal, scam. Bank would not say that and I've had real calls from the bank before. Actually sounded kind of snooty. They don't pester you to call back!
