Received a call from an unknown CA number — didn’t answer. Immediately got this text after: “I just tried calling as we need to review some upcoming filing deadlines and compliance requirements for your business.  Please give me a call at 866-893-7016 or schedule using this link http://1800acct.com/t/?w=00Q3Z00000nKhpGUAS&c=Rep-SMS Reply STOP to stop receiving messages.” Did not click link.

me too she swore up and down that it was for tax purposes they would call back in a hr nd a half to help me save o  taxes its a scam dnt pick up thank god i was wise enough to know I did that already so wasnt much theg could do to help which helped me notice it was a scam from the get..she claimed to call on legalzooms behalf but she was lying confirmed with legalzoon

Company name TelCentris INC popped up on the caller ID. Then text “I just tried calling as we need to review some upcoming filing deadlines and compliance requirements for your business.  Please give me a call at 866-893-7016 and gave a link to click.
Do NOT click link. Block the number or contact the authorities. They're trying to steal your information.

Never heard the phone ring. Looked at phone and saw a missed call and text exactly as in the above descriptions.
I contacted LegalZoom, whose services I recently used to register a business in my state. Gave them all of the info. They let me know that this was a free offer for advice with taxes that I opted in for at the time I placed my order with them to help get my business registered.

I expressed that the accounting company doesn't introduce themselves very well. I've cancelled the free consult as I'm THAT unimpressed with how the company didn't identify itself when they got in touch.

I received a call from 1-800-523-3987 which rang for half a second then hung up. I then received a text from 1-866-212-6814 which stated..
"I just tried calling as we need to review some upcoming filing deadlines and compliance requirements for your business.  Please give me a call at 866-893-7016 or schedule using this link *link erased for privacy reasons* Reply STOP to stop receiving messages."

I have not tried to contact them back and I did not click the link. Apparently this is a third party from LegalZoom as I used this to help start my business like others have commented as well. I may have been more interested if they had bothered to introduce themselves with the name of their company and actually TRY to speak to me over the phone before hanging up and sending a generic and suspicious text.

I got the same text but no call history whatsoever!
