Called my daughters job and just left a message to give to her. had a case # but I looked it up and nothing in the court system. They are a Fraud

well i just read an article this morning on credit card debt and the number of law suits have tripled in the last 90 days due to the economic crysis! the banks are in the whole so much that there going after anyway they can to get afloat so they are now going after us small people that owe credit card debit and sueing people now compared to a year ago they would just write stuff off as a loss! so basically watch out and check your state laws and see what they can do to recover the money.i know in most states they go after wage attachment and bank levy so just be carefull cause all the big banks are sueing consumer credit card debt

when i got a call from 866-214-2646 i thought it was a tellermarketer because i never thought you can be sued for credit cards. wow was i wrong

Thank Crystal. I know these people are a fraud I am A Human Resource Manager and they way they are going about it is Illegal and I will protect and Help out ANYONE the best I can. They don't even tell you who you owe or they make things up. I have already started reseaching everything. They can't attach your wages unless it is filed in court and you can look to see if there is a legit case filed. Nothing was ever filed in court. They might have scammed others but not me nor my family memebers will become victim to these crooked peoople.

Its funny how low these places go, and they will keep on until someone does sue , and yes, they are vreaking the law , look up your local state debt collection laws and it will tell you what they can and cant do,

file a complaint with the bbb, their number here in california is  (909) 825-7280 and their web site is www.la.bbb.org

lisa what do i do then?? when they called me they were calling about a debt i really do owe and i called chase bank to verify and they said they sold it to another company and i called them and about 45 mins of calling 3 different places they told me these guys really do own the account and to deal with them in reference to taking care of it.i dont want to deal with them but the original bank said they have nothing to do with it and they can no longer work or except any arrangments on it that i must deal with pacific management!i also check on the better business bureau and they are registered as a legit company and they are also licensed in california so i dont know what you mean by a scam?????unless chase the original bank where it was opened with is a scam which i know there not i dont still dont understand what you mean there a scam???

This SO Calle Company is NOT Legit. You have the wrong company. If they were legit they would handle themselves in a proper legal way. I wouldn't give in to them. Never release any info about any accounts you have. Not sure if your affiliated with them. I have gone on many scam sites and they are listed. If you don't see anything in the court sytem (pending case #) then they cant do anything.

lisa, i dont know if actually ready my post before my last but i explained to u i called the original bank card issuer and they supplied me with this companys phone number so i dont know how there a scam if they original bank gave me the phone#

received a call today for my son  from this company listing a phone#    as 1-866-214-2646, wanting to know when someone will be home to receive a court summons from the sheriff department on a case#. they don;t identifty themselves they say that they are from the process & service department of the sheriff department, i asked from what county all she said was your county in ohio,   i just hung up and goggled the number to find this sight,does anyone know who they are? are they a collection agency?

Hey I got the same call on friday... I told them huh!! Wrong number. I looked to see if anything was in Our County Court system under the name they said  and there wasn't... They are no one legit that is for sure. Hey it just dawned on me if they were from the Sheriff's office they don't call you to see if you are home. I work in HR and the Sheriff would just pop up.

Crystal are you working for Pacific Management.  This would be a good site to surf and try to do damage control by putting in the info you did.  However, it is not going to work!!

Well, I just received a call this afternoon at my company, and they didn't say who they are and said I got a sue case and have a case no. for me, well, since I didn't tell them I am the person they are looking for, and hung up, everyone, please keep this in mind.  and thanks for everyone post it online.

I received a phone call from them too and they were saying the same thing, to call a number they gave me because they were calling from the Sherif's office which is not true. I am reporting them to the BBB i already got their information. It is in fact illegal to use some other's company name to get in contact with you.
Anybody willing to help please leave a contact email or something.

I just got a call today at work, from a man named Mike Davis. He needed to get ahold of one of our installers that work for us. I told him I would get him the message, but he didn't work in the office. He said the same thing about the summons and how he worked for the clerks office for the sheriffs dept. So he gave me this case # and told me to have the installer call them right away. I decided to look it the phone # up online because it was a 866 # and not a local # and I found this website!! People got some nerve.....

How do we get these people to stop calling? We got a call today and they threatened that if my mom didnt call them back in 3 hours they will "serving her". My mother filed bankruptcy two years ago, none of her creditors showed up and she was released from paying them. Our lawyer at the time told us its illegal for any creditor to contact us. Any advise?

This happened to me too. This guy Michael Davis called me and scared me like crazy I was actually driving and I almost got hit. I couldnt believe it and I got home, got on google and see what you all wrote. I heard the exact same things that I am reading here now- about the sheriff, the 3 hr thing and all that stuff. Actually initially I got a call from a private num that gave me this 866 num and the guy was like - if u care abt whats going on in your life, u better call the 866 num. I was like OMG. I got a friend of mine and did a 3-way call and this Michael Davis went on and on.... Thanks Google for this. Do not believe them Pacific Management and all that debt collectiors. Yes I do have some credit card debt which is so minimal but who doesnt ok? And involving courts in this.... Thats crazy

Seems Pacific Management has been messing with allot of people. Jason Begley...the owner is in Corona California and will be served with my court papers shortly for violations of the Fair Credit Reporting Act. Jackson, I'd be interested in participating in that suit. I just found out that my ex-wife has been getting these threatening calls from Pacific Management Recovery from the 866-668-0012 number for more than a year without me knowing anything about it. I moved to Texas and separated from my ex-wife over 10 years ago and have not seen her since. We completed the divorce in 2003 I believe. I don't even have the phone number she was contacted at; she reached me through Facebook. But it's not like I'm hard to find ... I have up to date contact info in my resume on all the job search sites,

I want them to stop calling her, first and foremost. I haven't called them at the number they gave her but am preparing to do so. I am just currently looking up resources so I know my rights and what legal recourse is available to me before I contact them. I'd appreciate any feedback or advice you might be able to share.
