As stated above it's Canada Trust. If they call its important you DO answer. Called us yesterday to notify us the our VISA card was compromised.

The caller said they were from Dunn and Bradstreet.  They wanted more information on my Business so their records would be more complete?

This number is TD Canada Trust EasyLine. Totally legit in my experience.

Got a Call yesterday 11-8-11 from Melanie Rossi saying she is with a "Business to Business Advertising Company" called ExchangePages.Net asking for the Owner of our company - Used his First Name - to pay a past due bill from 1 - 2 years ago.

Demanded payment or Risk "being removed" from service listing. When I asked her name, phone number to return call, address of their office - she immediately became defensive and asked me WHY I WAS ASKING?

I explained makes no sense for a bill to be past due this long unnoticed. She asked IF I WANT TO HEAR A RECORDING OF THE OWNER ACCEPTING THE AGREEMENT FOR SERVICE which still is outstanding and not paid. When I asked for her supervisor, we go round a few times the same spiel = why don't I just pay it? why do I need her address? where is the owner?

When she finally agrees to transfer me to Supervisor, then she stammers and HUNG UP.

So I return call the number she gave me 866-222-3456 which supposedly is in New York. I get TD WaterHouse investment firm in Canada and they have no idea what I am talking about. They report this incident to their Fraud Prevention Department.

I search the number 866-222-3456 + the company name and find website ExhangePages.Net.
Next I call the Customer Service Number on the website = 888-349-9430 = select option 2 for Billing Questions + Inquiries = get a woman who immediately says she needs to "look up my account" when I explained what had just happened.

She puts phone down on desk and I HEAR WHISPERS IN BACKGROUND. She does not come back to phone. Immediately a man picks up the phone.

He identifies himself as Malcolm Booth and after I explain this fiasco, he begins to THREATEN ME to pay the bill then decides it would be better to try to get me to "just be happy to be taken off their call list" since he says NONE OF THIS ACTUALLY HAPPENED.

Malcolm Booth admits to being supervisor of Melanie Rossi but he will not provide me any information as he says he thinks I am only his best competitor fishing for information from his company to steal his clients. VERY BAD PEOPLE.

I informed Mr. Booth that his company will be hearing from the Attorney General and the BBB very shortly. He was NOT CONCERNED IN THE LEAST. BEWARE!

These clowns are trying to pull this scam on my business right now.NO INTENTION of paying and I don't CARE!!

If you're receiving phone calls from this toll free number and it is not related to a product or service that you have obtained through TD Canada Trust, then it is most likely a scam. The number itself is for the Everyday Banking (EasyLine) department and immediately asks you for your access card number when you call.

African Fraudster with phishing site...!  Go to your bank and ask in person whats up with your account. More than likely nothing is wrong the fraudster is attempting to steal your personal information

The 3rd time they called today I answered. It was just an automated reminder from TD Canada Trust that they sent me a replacement debit card and that I simply need to use it to activate it.

No one here can help you and you cannot communicate with the bank via this website. Call a known customer support number for them found on your statement or card issued by them.

Do not answer or call !!!! It’s scammers working for TD !!!! You think you are calling TD then they redirect your call to scammers!!!!!  A lot of scammers during this Covid !!! Be careful also on your devices
