This is Reliant Energy ... late payments

Phone rings...I answer...nobody speaks.
One more annoying junk call.

The message left offered an entry into a drawing for Hannah Montana rodeo tickets if I went online to reliant.com.  You must sign up for online billing to be entered.

I filed a complaint with the PUC because of a billing issue they don't seem to understand. (Perhaps can't find someone to read them my e-mail.) One of the side issues: I CAN'T HANDLE A PHONE CALL LIKE THIS. They don't want to communicate online, for some reason. So, when they refuse to even try, and I complain....now they punish me by telephone.

Fortunately, there is eVoice which gave me a free number. (May not be free any more. Same folks as eFax.) For years, I've given it to anyone whose call I might not be able to deal with. Better than answering machine or voice mail; the phone here NEVER rings when someone calls that number. For some reason, I have never -- ever-- gotten a telemarketing call. Calls only come from someone I gave the number to. They can leave a message, but phone never rings. The message is sent to me by e-mail, along with Caller ID information, if any. I can listen, ignore, answer....at my convenience, and without any disruption when it's not convenient.

Not a sweepstakes. Not a bill collector. Not this time. Apparently, they use 866-222-7100 for a lot of different things.

Called at 11:50 AM, left no message. Called again a minute later.

12/02/19 - Robo call, says it is Reliant Energy, threatens immediate electric service disconnection if electronic payment not made at that minute.

robo call  saying they were going to disconnect my electric service on 24 hrs and i needed to talk with someone i just hangout because they did the same call to my husband he got scared and conctacted reliant , reliant said it was a scamm .

They claim to be with Reliant energy late payment colletion. I'ts a scam. They are very convincing. Don't fall for it.

Called n said my electricity was going to be cut off because I didn't pay my bill.  Press 2 to talk to customer service.  When answered,  they asked for my account number.  I asked them to say again,  but they hung up.  I blocked the number.

VM did not identify company but said something about to avoid being cut off.  However, the clue that it was a scam was when the robocall said have a wonderful rest of your day.  Bill collectors don't say that!

Reliant number but robo call.  I don't even have Reliant.

Caller said he was selling Solar panels Reliant.  He works for a company named Solar USA.
