If they call, contact Mr. Tyrone Davis, VP in charge of customer relations.

In my case it was about a case of identify theft.  Some one used my address and phone number when they went to a hospital for treatment.

If you do not have any debts in collection, give them your name, telephone number, and tell them to cease and desist calling.

Has anyone had any luck with getting this company to stop calling? I have had my house number for less than two weeks and since the day it was hooked up, have gotten 1-3 of these a day. When I do speak to them, and tell them that Kenneth Sweeney does not live here, they say okay, and you would think that is it. I talked to a man today, told him my problem, and asked how I knew I would not get these calls anymore, and he said "I will take your name off the list" Yeah right. If it were that simple you would think it would have been taken care of a week ago.

I am considering changing my number, but I really like the number itself, it's easy to remember, and I am afraid after reading the other posts that I would just get another recycled number and have the same problem.

Do not use the name you were given to call back. Call the owner directly.... See below.

We have recevied serveral calls from "PRS" from different numbers, this being the one today and it was "Ms Price".

We have been receiving the same calls only from a Mrt. Shapiro at PRS. We just moved into our house and have a new number. I am sure they are trying to reach someone who used to have this number, as we have received no information in the mail, certified or otherwise indicating a debt is owed. They are more than welcome to keep calling and getting our answering service, and then get deleted!

PRS is some collection agency - be careful as it could be very old stuff and if you acknowledge they can legally try to collect

I too kept receiving voice messages from a "Mr. Cross" to call him back.  He's been calling 2-3 times a day for about 2 weeks.  Today he left a message and included that he was from "PRS".  Case solved.

PRS is "Professional Recovery Services Inc." based in Voorhees, NJ.  They are a collection agency that bought a charged-off account I'm currently filing bankruptcy on.  I'm sure they plan to bagger me into paying...not realizing that I contacted my attorney today~he will be adding this new creditor to my old credit card account so I can't be harrassed by new people after the bankruptcy is finalized by the judge!

Months ago, my attorney told me I could answer my creditor's calls and give them his name/number to announce I'm filing Chapter 7.  They legally are not allowed to contact you after this process.  However, they got sneaky by immediately charging off my debts to other companies so they wouldn't be stuck with the bill when the bankruptcy is finalized.  BEWARE!!  You WILL be held responsible for ALL accounts that aren't included in your bankruptcy, including the same debt just changing hands!!

I just got a call from this number. They just left the number to call.
As I don't return calls from numbers like this one, I wanted to check this number out.

This must be some type of scam.

Had a call from Mr. Cross also from 1-866-231-1068. I called this number they connected me with a Mr. Rothberg, whose first name is Mister. Very rude, hung up on me twice. This is a joke. They are a collection agency but not very professional as their name states. They had the correct last name but wrong first name. Anyhow if your looking to have some fun with this call try and ask the questions and you will really fire this guy up.

Same thing I get, they call, but leave no message.

866.231.1068 ~ Same thing - I even was kind enough to direct them to this site.  Obviously they have the wrong number & they still call no matter HOW many times you tell them not call anymore.   How annoying~!!!

they are a collection agency & don't care if they have the right number or not - it's all programmed.  Time to get a new number.  Wouldn't be so bad if this wasn't my business number & I have tons of business already printed out.... grrrrr

Receive messages from Mark McCord of PRS.  He says I need to contact him immediately at 866-231-1068 Ext. 1086.

This happens twice a day.  I am really sick of it.

I have had repeated phone calls from these people, all ending in assurances that they accept they have the wrong number and will have my number removed from the roster.  They lie - still on there.  I called my cell phone service provider to have their number blocked - they just call from another number - automated or live.  I have the same address as listed above, but all the following number:

The first time I asked to speak to a supervisor, she refused to give me identifying informaiton about the company.  She actually had the unmitigated gaul to scold me for hanging up on her staff when they cold called!!  I just finished speaking to another supervisor who identified himself as Justin Hall.  He gave me, albeit reluctantly, the company's name, although they lie so often, I am not sure it is correct.  Their calls come up as 000-000-0000 on my cell phone screen but then they leave a message with a phone number to call back.  Please google this company.  It has been going on forever, and it is obscene!

Time to put these unwanted calls to rest! They leave a message - call Noah or John or Sally at this number.
When you call it back to see what they need! It plays music.

I would send a letter to them asking them to stop calling and to let them know you will file harrasment charges .
