- disgusted replies to Nick JorgansonThis is obviously someone who works for the company. My last apartment complex does the same thing "SPECIAL BONUS IF YOU WRITE A POSITIVE REVIEW ABOUT US ONLINE!!" What collection company says "oh well if you don't want to pay, that's okay don't worry about it AND we'll take it off your crediit report! YAAAAAAYYYYY" Funny, I checked with my state government and they aren't legal to collect in my state. Maybe that's why they've never sent me anything in the mail and giving me LAW REQUIRED opportunity to dispute the debt, whatever it is as they have still REFUSED to tell me what it is. Well I hope you enjoy your illegal activities while working for these bottom feeding scumbags. Looks like you won't be meeting your quota from me as I know the law and my rights. HA HA HA

- Called repeatedly replies to why me| 1 replyHey so glad I checked this! This Josh Cook guy also called twice. At first he said he wanted to verify residency for someone at one of our properties. He said to call him back and to give his secretary a reference # so she could get him out of a meeting. Then I googled the number and saw it was a scam! Then he called a 2nd time and I confronted him about the "scam" claims online and he said people were just mad. I guess so! I asked him if this was a debt he was collecting for and he said before he says anything he has to confirm some info and started to say " the social security number.." and I stopped him asking if he seriously thinks I am going to verify that kind of info????? And I told him not to call again. This is the info he gave: Josh Cook TTW Associates 877-366-1717 and he called from 800-266-1717. It's a shame what people do!

- Clark's Bro replies to Called repeatedlyJustin Barker was the fine gentlemen that called my home today. Same number in and out as listed above with a file no. 131310 for a Robert Clark. If anyone knows Robert (because I sure don't), please tell him to call Justin Barker. It could be a matter of life or death! (Didn't get the pleasure to speak with Mr. Barker, but almost hope I do now--after reading all these similar posts!)
- me as well replies to meI also worked for them ahwile back. I really enjoyed working there. They really did seem to want to help people.
- Josh| 1 replySo should I pay the settlement amount or not? Do it really settle the debit or am I getting hussled? I wanna do the right thing and pay the bill. If I pay it will they really "notify the three major credit reporting agencies that the account has been paid in full and request the negative remarks to be removed"?

- tinkster45DO NOT be intimidated. Know your rights. Know all of them and exercise them. DO NOT be afraid of words like "I think this may be credit card fraud, we are investigating it. Some companies use tactics like this and worse to get you to pay off your debt or to pay even a token payment towards your debt, the reason they want you to pay something towards the debt is it re sets the statutes of limitations.
I would guess that alot of companies are so aggressive in collecting in this manner because the SOL has run out, meaning they can still harrasse you but they cannot sue you. KNOW YOUR RIGHTS and assert them.- Caller: thomas, thomas, wichterman & associates

- JohnGot a call from Josh Cook at 877 366 1717. Called back. Told him I was recording the phone call on my end. He said he was doing the same. Told him to stop calling my family (they called my mom, dad, sister and landlord - all at their work). Told him to send any further communication to my address. He did not have my current address at hand. Told him that if he had all those phone numbers, surely they had my correct address. He kept asking if I wanted to know what the call was about. I kept insisting that from here on out I would only respond to written communication.
And then he hung up on me.
What does that tell you about their policies?- Caller: thomas, thomas, wichterman & associates
- IDIOTAll who think they are scum... pay your debts! This would never happen if you would just live up to the deal you made with the companies... It is people like you that make this world's economy as bad as it is!! Get over it! Pay your debts!!

- F*** TTW!! IN THEIR FACE!They called my mom and dad, talking about how they were Attorneys and that they didn't want me to be "blindsided" with this info. Their so called "client" was wanting to get 1,800 from me, from an original debt of 600. When i asked them where all the interest came from they couldn't give me clear answer. I then proceeded to ask them, IF THEY ARE DEBT COLLECTORS...HE PLAIN OUT SAID NO! THEIR TRYING TO KEEP OUT OF LEGAL TROUBLE! I passed the phone on to my fiancé (who handles all the bs) and they were contradicting their selves...story kept changing etc. etc. etc. ITS ALL BS! WATCH DATELINE-DEBT TRAP- THIS WAS A VERY INFORMATIVE VIEW OF THE LEACHES AT WORK! They pose as attorneys and claim you will be in big trouble! just to collect the debt they bought for pennies on the $..so to them anything they get from us is better then nothing.! SORRY TTW ASSOCIATES! YOUR NOT DEALING WITH A DUMMIE! I KNOW MY LAWS N RIGHT! IF YOU EVER! I REPEAT EVER! GET A CALL FROM THEM DONT BELIEVE A WORD THEY SAY! Its illegal to mis-represent them selves, and harass family and friends! DONT BE A VICTIM OF TTW ASSOCIATES!

- LizI received a call this morning from TTW& Associates regarding a person remotely connected to me through marriage. They were not rude, however, very secretive when I asked questions. When I presssured them for further information regarding this civil case they were asking about they apologized and said they would remove my name and number from their files. When asked how they got my name and number (my number is unlisted) they claimed it came up as a source number in docs they found. I am a B2B collector and I know a skip tracer when I hear one. Unfortunately, unless they become verbally threatening they are within their legal rights to pursue whatever avenue they can find to locate someone who has outstanding debts. Business credit files are open books and they have no trouble finding businesses that have written off bad debts which if they can collect them will give them a fee more times then not and just an FYI, must companies do sent their bad debt write offs to third party collection agencies in the hope that they can collect the money or in some cases they sell the account to an agency for pennies on the dollar. Annoying as they may be they are one of the evils of having credit.

- MelanieI just got a call this morning from TTW& Associates. The phone number is 1-801-266-1717. The representative was Anthony Wiance who left a voice message on my recorder. I could not hear the last name very clearly. Anthony said that his investigator gave him my name and phone number. Anthony called me by my maiden last name which I never use and have not used in probably 10 years. That means that they had to had looked up my information from my credit report. They were looking for a Charles Rosco Chavez and Anthony said that I was a potential family member and to please call Charles Rosco Chavez and have him call their office. That it was very important that he call their offce and Anythony left a case number. Anthony made it sound like it was some kind of legal case. I do not know a Charles Rosco Chavez. Furthermore, I called the police and reported the call. There must be a thousand Chavez's in California alone. Are they really looking for this person and just going down the list of anyone with the last name of Chavez? My number is not listed in the phone book and I looked up Charles Chavez in Us Search and there is no one's name similiar to mine affiliated to any Charles Rosco Chavez. If that's the case then this is nothing less than phone harrassment. I plan on adding their number to the National do not call registry. I have added other numbers and I did not received any calls. The police advised me not to call them. I am under no obligation to call them. However, because they were deceitful in their call to me, I do plan on reporting them to any and every government agency that I can find including the ones in their own state because if they took the time to pull my credit report, I have a feeling the this will not be their last phone call.
