Ontario Energy Savings LLP.....they are selling long term electricity supply contracts. They talk about mandatory metering and electricity going up 40% and if they don't like your reply they simply hang up on you.

Caller asked for President, Owner or CEO. Stressed they are only authorized to speak to 1 of the 3 people. Caller was quite abrupt and pushy trying to intimidate receiving party(me). Caller quoted a reference # and I asked if that means anything to our company and she said 'no......it's for our internal reference'. She asked who would call her back......I said 'Hmmmmm, I'm afraid I cannot provide names of contacts for our Company......It's policy.' I could have asked 'What's your presidents name????' I'm sure she would have hung up.

They claim the electicity rates are going up 30-40% due to a new "act"
And the give you a reference number to make it sound official.

If you like to get hosed give them a call, they will surely comply.

Rick Patterson from "hudson energy" asked for the owner - says it is regarding the new smart hydro meters

That's funny, that "Rick Patterson" guy from Hudson Energy just called my shop, asking to speak to the owner.  So I googled his name and company because I screen calls for the owner to keep the BS off his plate, then I stumbled upon this.  Sorry Rick, but we live in an age where your BS can be logged and compiled online to render your telemarketing tactics useless.

Yeah just got a call from Rick also.  SOB.  Rude as hell.  Asked for the VP of our company by name.  I told him that he's on the phone, and asked if there was any way I could help him.  He blurted no, just have him call.....and gave his details.  When I asked what it was regarding, he said rudely and abruptly  "the new smart and gas" then hung up while I was trying to ask another question.
Even if this was legit, which it obviously isn't, attitude like that will never get my business.

Same thing, he's called here twice asking for the owner. We take a very high call volume as it is and these kinds of calls put an unecessary stress on our staff. I've put him through to VM twice now and to my knowledge never left anything behind. After reading this, I'll know to just hang up.

He just called us and said he was Rick Patterson.  Started quoting some energy act change.  What showed up on our dial display was 'Just Energy - 1 647 317 5934'

I wish that 'Rick Patterson' guy would stop calling me!  Very memorable voice I must say...makes me laugh how he speaks- so mechanical.  What's even funnier is that he must keep the same list of contacts to call for 10 years, as he moves along from company to so called company.  His last endeavor I believe was working for an investment firm.  On his phone message he said that 'the market is on wheels'.  Yep..been following this guy for quite some time.  Had many laughs, but now I think I've had enough.

He has called my office three times in the last 2 days. The next time the guy calls we will tell him how it is. In a polite way
