I received a call from them today.  It was about a legal action pending against my 30 year old son.  I have not seen himin over 20 years.  They asked for my wife.  She is not his mother and has never met him, though she does know of his existence.  I called them back at the number and the extension.  I told them what was what and the woman acted as though she didn't know what I was talking about.  She also denied having our phone number.  I told her that I would report to the FTC.  I told her that we have been putting up with fraud off and on for the last couple of years and this was the end of it.  I told her  that part of my job is legitimate collections (it is) and if this continued I could really mess them up.  She said,"you do that, sir," and hung up.  We won't hear from her again, but we probably will hear from some other incarnation of the same bunch of jerks.

you guys are all idiots... just to be clear the information is not stolen its information you provided when you were in your time of need.... now that your being asked to pay back what you owe its a scam???.... how about you just act like an adult and pay your bills that way these companys dont have to call you and try and swindle money that you should have paid back yrs ago..... look at it from the business point of view if your intelligent enough.... how would you like it if i agreed to an arrangement with either one of you and took money and then 3-5 yrs later come up with every excues in the book as to why i shouldnt have to pay you back sounds like a p.o.s person who probably isnt doing so well in life.... this is exactly why the economy is the way it is , because unresponsible ppl not handleing ther issues like an adult.... grow up!!! and once again pay your bills like everyone else

all i can say is im glad im not your son 30 yrs really??? sounds like the apple doesnt fall far from the tree.... odds are u recieve so many calls because you and your son just simply dont pay your bills..... once again its ridic that someone would have to try and force you to pay your bills like every one else........ you guys literaly live in a fools paradise thinking your above everyone and dont have to pay what you owe..

receiving threatening unwanted calls referencing claim against me and associate with my SSN and legal action to the fullest extent of the law. if I don't call back I am relinquishing my rights, blah blah blah Meegan Harding at ext 712 w/ a reference number....

My 12 yr old son is recieving these threating calls about him owing this crazy high bill, but they would not tell me the information.  My child is 12!!!  His phone that he has is not even on a plan.  What I couldnt understand is how rude the got when I told them that he was only 12, then it got turned into another child of mine must of done it?  I do not have any other child?  So how could this be?  The bank they kept trying to tell me it was through, we dont even have that bank in my state?  and I have lived here my whole life?  So, it took me involving my local police dept. to get them to stop calling my son?

I do pay all my bills on time, no money owed to no one my credit score is a 715. So again like everyone else has posted this is scam because when I asked for documentation they asked to verify my address what they had was a 15 year old address. So everyone just report them to the FTC and block them from your phones.  You really need to learn how to spell as well maybe you need someone to pay your bill so you can get an education....

I have received 2 calls leaving a recorded messages and numerous unavailable calls from this number. I have no debts that I haven't received a notice in the mail for that would be dealt with in this nature. I have no clue what they are referring to and don't take unavailable number calls at all! They have left me 2 messages from here saying that they are Off ice of Litigation and they have my name and social and that it's time sensitive and that I need to call back and ask for Scott Summers at 866-235-6815 ext.723. He sates that it was just faxed over to him and that he is the one I need to call and discuss/dispute the issue. He then states it isn't a sales call. He states that if I don't return his call that they assume from my silence that I do not want to cooperate with them on the matter. They then tell me that they will prosecute me to the fullest extent of the law that they can and what can be done in my area. This is an outrage that they stoop to such measures; they need to be prosecuted for harashment!!

Not true was in hospital with preganancy compications and never took out a p.day loan didn't even have job at time and they gave me a address that haden't ever lived in before, I didn't move til that address til 4 months after they said I did this. it is a scam...

My mother passed away last year. And the proper usage is "his/her" mother, not "there" mother -- and it's "their", not "there" -- and my bills are all paid up, always have been. Better get back to the boiler room-- so many people for you to swindle, so little time...

I wonder if you work for them? I can say they are a SCAM and nothing more. They called me, making threats, told me I was going to court, I had a judgment against me and so on and so forth. The thing is I never took this loan. They had my name and social, but all the other info was wrong. I never lived at that address, worked at the employer they stated or even banked at the bank they said I used to get the loan. I tried to explain this to them, as this was a possible case of Identity theft- they very rudely insisted I was lying to avoid paying, they continued to call, and refused to listen to anything I had to say- stating I would see an officer at my home or job to arrest me for fraud and we will deal with this in a court of law (It has been 2 months now and I have yet to see or hear from anyone, or even get anything in the mail from them) I started to investigate these guys, I have them tied to known scams in various states (New York is where they started) They go back to 2004 under different company names, who have been sued for this in the past. They just change the name, number and location and continue using fear to extort money. I have a suit against them in court as I type this, as well as their sister firm who called me for the same bogus loan within 2 weeks of me getting calls from these slime balls. So since you pay your bills, good for you but why don't you grow up and be sure you know what you are talking about before you bash people you know nothing about.

Do you work for them? I get the calls and I have never taken out a payday loan and you don't know me so don't accuse me of not paying my bills.  They are rude, nasty, threatening, don't want to provide any of there information at all.  And they hardly speak english. So back off lady, you don't know me anymore than the man in the moon.  Mind your own business

Don't give this company any money. I got a call from them saying I owed money for a payday loan and they were about to file civil charges with my county clerk. I never heard of the supposed creditor they were collecting on behalf of, and I definitely didn't do business with that creditor. Just to be safe, I did contact the supposed creditor -- and they said they no record of me. They also said they did not do business with this firm. I did take out a loan during an emergency, but I paid it back to the original creditor in question. I suspect they buy your information from certain databases and then prey on people who may have a bad credit history.  I asked this company to verify the debt in writing and they hung up on me. I have no problem paying back what I may owe a creditor. My credit tanked when the economy got bad and I lost my job. However, I'm now employed and working through a debt consolidation agency to bring my score back up -- and make sure I'm square with anyplace I owe payments to. These guys also go by Goldman Lauder and Cross.

Goldman, Lauder and Cross. Just a way to sound like a law firm. They are not. You will not be sued and if you check your credit it is not on your report anywhere. Call your AG and the FTC and file complaints.
