I got a call from a robocall and finally pressed 1 to get to a human. They were Universal Card Services and Briter Days Debt Relief - trying to get me to lower my interest rates on my credit card. They ask for my credit card number over the phone and would not tell me anything else. The lady who called sounded like she didnt know what she was talking about at all.

Very sneaky scammers - huge violation of the Do Not Call list since I'm on it. I already reported it. They said they're somewhere in Arizona.

I have received several calls from this company using several different caller IDs. All the same recorded message..."Hi this is Janie"... trying to get me to lower my interest rates on my credit cards. I pressed 1 to speak with someone. The first 2 times I told them I was registered on the DO NOT CALL list and to remove my number. Both men got angry and yelled at me then hung up. The next several calls when I tried to get information about the company again they hung up on me. Today I was given their website, www.changeyourdebt.com. I was told they were in Phoenix AZ. In addition to being unprofessional and rude, none of the people I have spoken to sounded like they knew what they were talking about.

universal card services, yes, scam . i got a call from 803-498-4422. pressed one to lower debt, got live person on phone. Asked who he was with . He identified as universal card services. I asked him how i received this call since i am and have been on do not call list with my cell since its implementation. I asked for a phone number i could register a complaint against. He stated, you have it, its on your caller id, i said ok, (knowing it was probably bs) and asked that i be removed, he said "remove yourself" and hung up. I reported it via the link on do not call, time, date, etc. I called back number on caller id , bogus number. 2 violations. One, recorded message, 2, no return phone number that is real or in any way active, 3, i have never done business with them. Be aware.

Got a phone call on my cell at work, asked that they call me at home.  They did, first talked to Kevin, very nice and polite, very knowledgable, had some one named Tabitha call me back, gave her all my info, she explained how things worked, seemed to good to be true, she was working on getting me a 0% APR on my credit card.  Claimed she would save me $1,500. on finance charges.  There is however a fee of $395. charged to your credit card when all is said and done.  I'm sitting here waiting for my call back to see if I qualified, will tell them to take a nice long hike.  Unfreakin believable, how can people pray on innocent people especially in such tough economical times..........

Hate to break it to you folks, but that "do not call list " is nothing but the best lead generator to date. Keep adding your name to it, and I guess you'll only have yourself to blame for all the phone calls - the ones you waste so much energy picking up and reacting to rather than say, oh I dont know, ignoring? If you press 1 you've already failed for the simple fact that you answered an unrecognized phone number. And if you have lost money because you have willingly provided your personal information over the phone then you should stop and rethink your poor decisions. Quit filling out surveys and talking to strangers on the phone or accept your consequences as a direct result of your failure at existing.

Just got a call today from Universal Card Serv from Phoenix Arizona. The lady don't have any idea how they have my information. She asked balance in my accounts (qualifying if I'm good for scam!!...lol) she transfer the call to the negotiator.....Who explained the program. Said one if my cc company can reduce from 14.74% to 0 in 6 ms then 9.9% after 6 ms........??? how he can be so sure of that!!!.... He told me they need me in the phone to talk to my cc companies and they will help me to negotiate the programs to reduce the interest rate in my cc (something that you can do by yourself with your cc companies). I asked what they are getting? %, monthly payment or initial payment for help? and he told me will be a charge of $ 595.00 one time for help me to reduce my % rate, and they can use my cc to charge that amount!!!! lol......then my phone "lost" the call. The name of the guy was Patrick Lazio. Also asked where they got my info...he said they buy leads from credit bureaus. Hope was real!...Can't believe how people work to do that.

OK so this company is a complete scam. I worked for them and they are so sketch about everything that I had to quit. They supposedly treat you like family and say its all legit but come payday you're check bounces??? . The companies real name is RELIEF THAT WORKS you can find their website online. We can't even give out the companies name until we've gotten all the info so you know who will charge your card. The boys Jeff is full of crap and if you ask to talk to him you're better off talking to the wall because he's the one who tells employees to treat people like crap if they won't give you information. If you ask pr the paves number they will A.) Say they will call you back or B) give you a fake number. They're tall number is 1866.706.2877. They operate in Phoenix AZ you can find all their info (including their address on their real website)
Oh and ps. You're better off reporting them because it'll be a waste of your time calling them to give them a piece of your mind.

SO this includes ripping off your employees? You owe me money Jeff for the hourly you promised. Let alone the twenty dollars in spiff money. Also after checking you out on the internet I cant believe I got wrapped up with you. I asked you straight up if this was a scam or not and you said no. Im ashamed I sat for two weeks in your phone room. Im ashamed I trusted you with my reputation and my time. You burned me Jeff you lied to me and then had me lie to others for you. I will never forgive you for this and will do everything I can to hold you responsible for what you have done.
