- Erma replies to ccThink they are smart. Had someone call from a local Atlanta number: 404-496-5764. Checked and this number was from a powertel atlanta license cell phone. Lady was rude, but I gave her no information. Said she had something in her office for me. I guess she was calling from a boiler room.

- EffigyEVERYONE, READ THIS!!!! http://www.cracked.com/article_19074_5-distur ... your-money.html
These people are trying to suck you dry because their too lazy to get outside and do some real work. They threaten people and say they have attorneys on retainer for these debt cases. They put up a fight on the phone until you cave in and hand them your acct. and routing number so they can keep tabs on your spending and just charge more interest and keep the debt train rolling. God bless, don't be fooled by these masquerading suits.- Caller: J.C. Christiansen

- ShutemDownI'm a victim too, what I did is submitting them to FBI, everyone, let's do the same, submit them! I'm sure FBI have other priorities, but when too many people complain about a company, FBI will have to start investigating, because FBI is now overwhelmed, it's become a problem for FBI too, and they have to stop it! This is the only way to stop them from harming more people!!!
The logic is pretty simple here:
They harass you ==> You turn around "harass" FBI ==> FBI turn around "harass" them ==> you will be in peace;-)- Caller: JC Christensen & Associates Inc.
- chrispi2get the phone call almost every day. When I do pick up it is a recording that never says who they are calling for!! Why should I have to waste my time with a call that is for someone??? who I have no idea who they are. These people should be exterminated.

- ridiculous| 2 repliesI have an idea....pay your bills and quit complaining....
- pinky replies to ridiculous| 1 replyoh wow your so smart my god if the whole world was full of people like you I dont know what we would do you must have a pretty boring life to go on a message that doesnt have anything to do with you because you MUST pay your bills if you tell everyone else to pay so Im thinking your either one of the low lifes that works at this place that is trying to scam money from people that dont need to pay the old debt that has ran out or you just have a sad life
- Mama DukesI received a call from them saying they are a debt collector. They did not ask for anyone by name as they don't know the name of who they are calling. I believe they are definitely a scam artist. First off I have no debts that I am aware of. I work in collections and for me to be turned over to a debt collector I would first have to not pay my bills, secondly I would have to get some type of past due notice 1st, then I would get a letter my account is being turned over to a debt collection agency. This is how it is done. I know because I do this myself as I am a bookkeeper and work in collections.
If I receive several calls I will send them this letter found on another site:

- HannahI received a really rude call from a lady at this number asking to speak to someone I do not know. When I told her I had no other number for that person, she said she had reached the person at my number recently. She is full of crap. I live alone and this has been my number since 2006.

- Devin FrancisI received a call from them the other day. The guy knew my name and information, was really friendly actually.. His name was Coty Wells. I knew about the debt in which he was calling about, i thought it was settled but i had a rough patch a few years ago. We worked things out, and he actually was able to get me a settlement for a smaller amount then what was owed. I don't know if its just the woman who work their, but the guy i talked to was actually friendly!

- EBWe've been getting repeated calls almost daily and sometimes more than once day. The caller is always the same male voice, that says we are to call JC Christensen Associates concerning a debt collection. I know positively that we do not have any unpaid debts out there. The caller never says who they are trying to reach either. So I either hang up or if I am not home and a message is left on our machine I simply delete. I will not call a number back that doesn't specify whom they are looking for or someone I do not know. The difference in my case is the numbers are different from where the call originates. Today's number was 973-718-8146. The other day it was 973-862-4008. However it always says to call the 800 number they leave. We too are on the do not call list.

- AmieThey called my boyfriends phone asking him for me and other questions... And when he asked the guy ( who called himself Tod Powell ) what it was regarding and if it was a personal matter he would not answer just told him to have me call him. So when I got home I tried calling and it went to an automated messaging system so I hung up.
