Got it last night , these scammers are out of control

Because that’s the number they’re wanting you to call. They’ll text you off different numbers everytime I have about 3-4 of them from the past week or two and I have AT&T😂😅. So they text off different numbers but send the same number to call. It’s for sure a scam.

They text off different numbers every day or every other day, sending the same number telling me to call “about a matter with Verizon wireless”. I don’t even have Verizon, so I know it’s a scam for sure.

I received a text from this number claiming I owed a debt to Verizon,  I've never had service from Verizon.

The text shows up as Please contact MRS BPO, LLC at (866) 246-0218 regarding a matter for Verizon Wireless. MRS is a collection agency. If you want to opt out of future text messages reply with STOP. I don't even have verizon, I've been getting 2 texts a day from this number. The last time I was on a verizon plan, I was 16 and it was my mothers. I'm 36 now, and in my 18 years as an adult, I've never had verizon. This was the text sent:

I didn't click on anything because I know not to. I know this thread is from 2019, I'm just adding my experience so others can beware.

At least now you know what to do about it.

Same text as stated above. Have never had service with Verizon, have been with ATT for almost 20 years. Crazy!
