A search for information on 1-248-605-0973 indicates that the number is unpublished or unavailable, it is a land line provided by CAT Communications International located in Clarkston, MI (a second search indicated a Grand Rapids, MI location)

Did not leave message.

THIS PEOPLE CALL ME SO MANY TIMES , FIRST FROM PGBANK ASKING ABOUT A SOME PURCHASED MADE IT BY ME , THEN I START GETTING CALLS FROM THIS NUMBER AND THE FIRST TIME THEY SAY THEY ARE A COLLECTIN AGENCY , ABOUT SOME TEST SUPOSED GET IT IN OHIO , THE FUNNY THING IS I NEVER BEEN THERE , LATER I CALL THE SAME NUMBER AND ONE GUY SAY HE IS FROM ANCHOR A COMPANY FROM KANSAS SO THIS IS A BIG JOKE , HE TRY TO GET MY NUMBER TO HELP ME , BUT THIS TIME I DIDN'T GIVE IT ... SO I REPORT THIS CALL TO MY TELEPHONE COMPANY TO MAKE SURE AND GET NO SOME SURPRISE IN MY BILL.

they keep on calling and when I stay on line for a long time waiting for someone to talk to it just hangs up. They call anytime from early morning to late at night. Who are they?

I just stsrted getting calls from this number (866-247-1087) first from John, then Doris.  From the time it took another person in the house to get to me with the phone they hung up.  I never heard if this company and don't have any loans, etc they could be affiliated with.  I'm going to call back on Monday from my work phone and see what I get.

After being called by them everyday at least 6 times a day for 2 months and having the automated service hang up after my answering machine would pick up (I knew it was the same service because it would say "IF this is.." then cut out) I finally answered my phone. They are apparently a collections agency named "Encore" 1-866-247-1087. I spoke with a Trisha, they didn't even want me, apparently someone else (an Anthony B. ) had given them this number, so I was being hassled for someone else (GREAT!) After assuring them I had no connection with this person I still didn't trust the operator, so asked for a manager. A Lexi assured me I would not be receiving any more calls, but not very trusting I asked for the contact number if I did and received 1-866-247-1087 to date I have not received anymore calls from them (about a week) so I guess if you owe someone some money that's why they are calling.

The individual called without identifying himself, left the name Markee or Marquis.  Indicated that the call was regarding an important business matter (as if there were any other type of business matter).  Did not indicate which client of mine that he was calling about.  Left the reference number M87A which is apparently his employee code.  I returned the call despite the lack of information.  The person in and unnamed country in the Asian subcontinent to whom I spoke could not identify who they were calling about.  I asked what company that she was with and she indicated

they are a bunch of losers. don't know where they get their information wrong but it is incorrect. if i could get one of them within reach they would be very sorry. the call early mornings - late nights - weekends and i don't know if they can't hear but i curse at them and tell them in no uncertain terms who they are. eventually they will quit their positions!

got call from this number this AM. she says her name is gladys and asks for memeber of my household. I think she says she was from a place called encore. Very vague when I asked for details.

I have been getting calls from this number, but today I got a TEXT MESSAGE on my cell phone asking me to call this number.  

The nerve!  Anyone know if I can report this to some sort of agency?

Ongoing annoying phone calls at all hours of morning and evening asking for numerous different names of people, none of whom have this phone number.  Have asked for the calls to stop numerous times.  Finally asked for a supervisor today and they would only tell me their name is "Encore" and would not tell me the full name. Stated they are a "financial institution and that is all you need to know."  I insisted on a call back number, she wanted to know why.  I got this 866 #.  They deny calling my number previously.  I would like to know how to take this matter of harassment further.

I recieved a call from this number, and they would not tell me anything about who I owed, or any details of the total amount owed, they just tried to get me to agree to a payment plan, this number has been calling all hours of the very early morning and late night. I refuse to send money to people I do not even know, and can't tell my what I owe and who I owe it too. I also asked them what is the name of their company and all they would say is This is an attempt to collect a debt, but didn't know what debt

Getting calls from Encore Receivables saying they are a 3rd party collection agency for GE Money Bank.  Their number shows up as unknown caller and the operator has a foreign accent.  They call me at least 5 times per day.

Never tell me who they are calling about, except they are calling from Encore.  Asking for myself or my boyfriend.

These people call day and night starting at 8 am.  They will call, hang up and call back 10 minutes later.....like I'm going to answer the second time?  This has been going on for 2 months.  Never leave a message so I have no idea who they are trying to reach or why.  I never answer an 800 style number.  To me, this is harrassment!

These people are debt collectors for GE Money Bank, I believe they're in India (they actually asked me what state Las Vegas was in). They don't take no for an answer, and are super rude. In spite of the fact that this debt was settled with GE Money Bank a year ago, they keep calling my phone. Every time I answer, they try to put me on a payment plan. I've explained that the debt was paid, but they don't seem to get it. Lame.

I received mail from Encore Receivable Management about a debt I have with GE Money Bank.  The contact phone number in the letterhead is this one, so I called it.  I got a recorded message saying that my call would be forwarded to "Dan".  Someone named Dan answered the transfer with a "hello" which didn't seem too professional, and he acted confused about my call.  I had to ask him, "Do you work with a company called Encore Receivable Management?", and he told me he didn't.  I asked him if his # was the one in the letterhead and he said it was.  I told him his # is on this company's letterhead.  Afterwards, he didn't seem too concerned by it so I said, "Isn't that strange", to which he replied, "It must be my Google number", twice.  I have no idea what that means, but really didn't care to keep talking with this person.  Mostly because I couldn't help but wonder if "Dan" was a shyster of some sore.  Did he buy a block of numbers to rent out (and one of the "renters" used it on the letterhead to make it look more professional?), or does he indeed work for ERM?  I can't help but think this is the case because immediately after I hung up I got a phone call from a different 866 number.  If the caller ID identified who the # was associated with I would have answered, but I put blocks on those that don't because they call- as others have indicated- starting at 8am, and not stopping until 9pm.  

Not everyone who has a debt that's in arrears is going to walk away from it (I think my calling them is evidence) but it's really tempting to just let it affect my credit score when they're as rude as they are- and GE Money Bank credit callers are just that, to a "t".  That, or their skills of communication in the English language are limited.  Either way, it doesn't inspire me to "do the right thing" when they're doing everything in their power to inspire ill will towards them.

Someone called my mothers phone asking for me. I would have never even given my mothers phone number to anyone especially someone looking for me! When I called them they asked did I know this person, I told them no, they had the wrong number. But they continuously call my mothers home. Granted my mother is a senior citizen, and they were very rude on the phone. If they continue to call, I will take legal action against them!!
