- plambI received a phone call 6/13/11 from a Mark Harris with this phone id showing on my phone 866-247-4587. He did not say who he represented and wanted to provide advertising for my business as "feature business of the month". He said it was $100/month. Upon further research he gave me false information regarding a customer service number to call for assistance (888-649-4756) and a false address 16133 Ventura Blvd, Encino, CA 91436. He said he would provide free advertising for 30 days and would call me 3 times to see if I was satisfied. THIS IS A SCAM!

- AllStarRecieved a phone call from 866-247-4587 and a female with a heavy Middle Eastern accent asked questions regarding my business in order to finalize updates for internet listings. Called the number back and the company is called E-Bridge.

Would not give any additional information other than that the call was regarding a business listing. Heave middle eastern accent, very rude and unprofessional. Definitely a telemarketer.

- SarahThis number has called our home-based business multiple times over the past few days. Every time we answer, there is only silence on the other end. When I called the number back, it is indeed a customer service number for "EBridge". They said they help local businesses be "more searchable" as far as internet listings with Google and other search sites. Free for 30 days. I told her we weren't interested and asked that we be removed from their list. She asked for the number to be removed and what number called me. Once I gave her the info, she said it could take up to 72 hours to update. We will see if it works.

- Rye| 2 repliesThey call me every day and hang up when I answer. I also called the number back and seem to have gotten the same woman everyone else was complaining about. She was very disorganized and didn't understand my request of having my number removed. I doubt that she did anything. She wasn't even paying attention when I told her which number needed to be removed. Since then they have INCREASED the frequency of their calls. They have called multiple times early in the morning (waking me up). I have been on the natinal do not call registry for a while, but they apparently are not fazed by this. I told the woman about the list and she had no clue what I was saying. I am really irritated that the calls have increased since I made my request. E-Bridge, quit calling me!

- Rye replies to RyeThey just called me AGAIN for the third time today. The guy actually answered this time. When I told him about my former request to stop calling, he said that this was the first time that they had ever called me!! He actually argued with me about having called before, told me that it was E-Bridge, and had the nerve to ask to speak with the manager of my business after all of that! He actually thought that I would do business with them, all things considered?! They are awful.

I told them we were not interested and he said "OH Ma'am there is no charge" then they asked to speak to my manager I then told him he would be out till next month and then he hung up on me! RUDE People! UGH! I HOPE THEY call back so I can give them a peice of my mind!!!!

- MK replies to MikeyDHope that does the trick. They keep calling me and I don't answer. Hopefully they will stop because of your complaints to the donotcall.gov. It really is a bother to stop what you are busy with and, again, another call from THEM!

My family is on the Do Not Call list, but unfortunately, I don't think it works very well for numbers that were formerly used by businesses. We still get calls for West Coast Claim Service, the company that used to have our number.

Lucky me. I was going to be featured on Google as a top business.
I told him "I don't want any more customers, thank you very much and goodbye."

- breeWe are having a similar experience as most everyone else - incessant calls from rude people with thick accents. We've asked them to stop calling on multiple occasions. They become belligerent, then call several times after to argue. I'm not even sure what they're calling for. They just say it isn't a sales call, then they say they need to verify some information (address, etc), and then they want us to wait a moment while they transfer the call to finish verification.We have told them that we don't have time to deal with them, and they get really angry & start yelling. When we hang up, they call back repeatedly, and start back up with the yelling. We've all said that we aren't interested, and please don't call back, and it's only made matters worse. I just filed a formal complaint, and I recommend others do the same. This will get you to the Federal Trade Commission. I'm not sure what happens after that, but it's worth trying.
