they keep calling asking for scott when it's my cell phone number, not scott's. and i'm not sure how to remove myself from the list.

I had 2 voice mail messages left by a 'Anna May' with the Nurse Health Fund asking me to call her at 1-8866-247-8293 ex 30762.  The caller said they wanted to review my health care information.  I certainly am not going to do that over the phone with an organization about which I know nothing and about which I can find nothing on the internet.  What  do you know about this organization?  Can I report the calls as a violation of the DO NOT CALL PROGRAM?  Or, does the Nurse Health Fund claim to be a non-profit organization?  I'd like to stop these people.  Any information that you can share will be appreciated.

Got 2 calls registered on my answering machine from (866)543-5630 ext. 30762 telling they called from AARP's health information.
I am a member and has insurance through AARP.
To find me, the person asked about my name. Could not find me.
Asked for the address and got it. Could still not find me.
Asked for date of birth, could still not find me.
I got suspicious and ended abruptly the conversation and hanged up.
After that I called AARP and got the correct no for health care questions that is (888)543-5630
Is it someone who knows what kind of people is behind this phone number?

Called me 26 Jul 2011 with request for phone number (how did she call me??!!!  She already had my number.) and address for explaining nursing program.  When I would not give them said Hippa would not let them explain services to me,  Then said would mail brochure to me and wanted address.  I said if you are my ARRP insurance you have my address.  Said had to verify by address before mailing me something.  I said if you are my insurance company, you mail me stuff all the time and do not require my permission or address each time.  The caller ID said private call. She said she would not mail the brochure to me and then she gave me a number to call back, which I did not call:  1-866-247-8293 ext. 30762  ( same extension at some other on line reports with different phone numbers).

Received a cell phone message from a male at 952-567-8046 on March 6, 2013 at 4:22 PM EST, stating it was an "emergency" from AARP and United Healthcare Nurse Help Line, directing that I call 866-247-8293.  Upon calling, a woman asked my name, then my DOB, which I refused.  The woman replied she could not reveal the specific reason for the call unless I provided that information.  I inquired why as to what "emergency" existed and she replied there is no emergency.  I asked why call?  She replied to provide general health care information.  Certainly, no personal information is required for that purpose!  

I am doubtful as to the legitimacy of this call, since I am unable to confirm via phone searches that either telephone number belongs to either AARP or United Healthcare; the numbers do not match with any of the numbers provided in writings by either organization.  The number 952-567-8046 appears to emanate from a landline in Burnsville, Minneapolis, MN 55337; one search reveals that the other number, 866-247-8293, Ext. 30762 is a toll-free landline while another search states that it is a mobile phone.

I would suggest that this call be reported by all recipients to their health care companies, both to report and make a record of said calls as well as to verify the legitimacy of the same; in the event the callers are scammers, then at the very least the health care organizations can mail written notice of the same to their members and report such fraudulent, criminal activity to the state's attorney general.

I got the same type of call from 866-358-8293.  He mentioned the call was for medicare person. I told him no one is under Unitied Health nor under medicare here.

Received 2 calls, both automated United Health Care, funny ring, and then a Paul, who didn't speak much English wanted info. Hung up.

Not sure why she keeps calling...but she sounds like Mrs Cleaver from Leave it Beaver. I’m frightened and aroused at the same time listening to her message
