no voice mail, keeps showing up on my phone

I got two hang up calls from this number today.  Could be because I am on the do not call registry and the autodialer hangs up on these numbers.  Anybody else on the do not call registry?

CALLED TWICE SO FAR TODAY (IT'S CURRENTLY 11:00 AM). CALLER HANGS UP WHEN WE ANSER THE PHONE.

Just got a call from them asking for the owner. When I asked who is this, he would not answer. He proceeded to give me attitude and not answer my questions. When I asked to be taken off the caller list, he ignored me and continued asking where the owner is.

What a scam!

I asked who they were - what company they were with - what they wanted...
They said - too many questions and hung up?

I have gotten 9 calls from this number today alone...so far. Who is this? Frankly I am always afraid of calling the numbers back, or even answering the calls after this much traffic.

They call every 20 minutes thru out the entire day. Seriously, every 20 minutes to the  minute.

It can't be very important if they keep calling repeatedly and then hang up on an answering machine.  So just ignore it.  That's what Caller ID is for - the important calls.  866-247-9270 is not among the Important Callers.  The more you call them to stop it, the more they know you are alive and keep calling back.

Company using outsourced employees offering "free" internet business listing. Started through the whole message of verifying our business info. Hung up halfway through his speech.

keep calling every 20-30 minutes - hang up when we answer, annoying, we don't have time for these morons. . .

This number is an online advertising agency...they called me 6 times in one day...a bunch of [***] ignorant mexicans! I had to threaten 2 supervisors that if they ever call me again...I am going to press charges!

Call several times a day, every day, never say a word.  They just hang up.  Don't have time for this nonsense.  Would love to know how to stop these calls.

When your a business and you have 800 numbers calling that are supposed to call you office that you HAVE TO answer for it can be a bit of a PAIN. I do have called ID and I have called back and left them messages to remove and they have not. So they obviously need the number to be reported to the attorneys general office so they can do further research on the company. If spam calling doesnt bother you then why are you even on this website trying to see where the call came from? So yea your idea isnt so swift for the average business getting spam calls all day and I'm sure is a bother to elderly people who cant see the caller ID and or have to get up and walk across the room to answer the phone and or poor people who cant afford caller ID. Way to go with that whitty and outstanding conclusion!

this is nonsence, 10-20 calls evrey day? Someone or something please stop them. I allready reported them to fcc six times, nothing happended. I ask them to stop. they appolgize, but  the calls still coming in at full force. I have a business line with call forwarding at .37 cents per call plus time, they did a number on me. this is a very expensive prank. Is ther any justice for this?

Just called our 2 person clinical office and hung up about a second or two into my call script. CID = "Toll Free Call"

and again...ugh! Unfortunately I am obligate to answer EVERY call in the event it's a test (rumor is that our corporate or franchise offices have people call to ensure we're properly answering the phones with our call scripts)...
