- Lacombe| 1 replyThe phone number 1- 866-248-1037 is being used as a contact number for what seems to be a scam. I received a letter from Keli Cole ,Vice President of US Airlines stating that I had "qualified for an award of 2 round trip tickets.., retail value of this award is up tp $1,198.00." A web search has shown that others have received similar letters with the same name but with a different phone number
- Caller: Number recieved in a letter/US Airlines
- Ponchatoula replies to LacombeWe got the same letter. Oddly, its hand addressed! Totally a scam. The letterhead of US Airlines is a joke. Would love to get my hands on these losers.
- AlbanyI just received the same letter from Keli Cole. My husband suggested I look up the name since I have never entered any contest for airline tickets, and I am deathly afraid of flying. Very glad I took the time to check it out. Thanks for the great information on this scam!!!
- MarkVery suspicious . British sounding answer machine .also hand addressed no return address. Be careful!
- Caller: Kelli Cole
- EarlI received the same letter from Keli Cole, VP of US Airlines offering (2) free roundtrip tickets. Its a scam to me, and the letterhead is a total joke..It also came in a handwritten address envelope. Be careful people its probably a scam..The airlines are not giving anything away for free these days......
- Baton Rouge LAGot the same letter today, exactly as everyone is describing. Did not call...seems to be Louisiana ppl getting it.
- Caller: United Airlines?
- BatonRougeI got the same letter today... and yes, it does seem like only Louisiana people are getting it.
- Caller: US Airlines?
- Baton RougeI too, am from Baton Rouge who received the same letter of same description that was hand addressed with poorly reproduced US Airlines letterhead. The letter states the same as mentioned that I had been ,"qualified for an award of 2 round trip airline tickets..." blah, blah, blah! I googled the phone number and hear I am reading about and now posting that this appears to be a scam. Save yourself some grief and ignore it and continue to post on here about this to build a convincing history for the skeptical receivers of these letters.
