calls everyday would not say what the urgency is please someone catch this company before they scam someone.

Received by our answering machine. Caller-id shows the call coming from 866-248-3761 with the name "unknown name". The caller never identified herself in the recorded message. This was the message verbatim left on our machine: "On behalf of the Cool Car Cold Cash giveaway, in regards to an official contest entry form that you have submitted to win $25,000 in cash. The entry was submitted within the last 18 months either at a local mall, a restaurant, or an event you may have attended. I have excellent news for you. Your entry has been recently selected. Press 1 to speak to a live operator, or press 2 to be placed on the DNC list." We get a lot of scam/fraud calls, but this is the first time we've received a message about winning a contest. For the record, we definitely haven't filled out any contest forms in the last 18 months. And I've never heard of the "Cool Car Cold Cash giveaway". It's clearly another scam/fraud attempt.

Came home to find the exact same recorded message on our machine.  Caller ID said "800 SERVICE."  Isn't it interesting how a COLLECTION AGENCY is suddenly GIVING AWAY $$$?? (We don't OWE ANYONE any $$.)   SCAM any way you look at it!

I am not sure what you mean.  Suddenly?  The last posts in here were clearly made in 2008, 11 years ago.  What happened then was a long time ago and has no bearing on the present day phone calls.

Recorded spam message saying that I won some contest I entered.  Which I didn't because I don't enter contests.
