they have called me for years, and i am not the person who they are looking for.   ive finally found this site to seek out others like me to take action!


katie at ext 301 keeps leaving messages daily about a debt thats not mine

Keep getting calls from them. They say they are calling from NCO Financial. The person there looking for is not me. I have told them this several times. They told me they have offices all over the world and I have to call each office seperatly. But they will not give me there address, other phone no#s, or let me speak to a supervisor. All violations of FDCPA. I have a call record showing where they have called my cell 62 times. I emailed the States Attorney Generals Office. I hope this will stop them.

This woman would not say her name, say who she is calling from, she would not give any information that I would as for, however, she demanded to speak to "me" and I refused to say if I was or was not "me", because I don not trust any company over the phone. How do I know someone is really calling from a company, just because they say they are? Too much ID theft going on.

called cel phone and left brief message of her name with a phone number and an extensionnwith a reference number. Did not state what company she repped or what the call was about.

I have received 3 calls this week, but I did not answer the phone before looking up the number on the Internet.  She left a message, using only my first name with an extension number to call her back.

They are looking for someone that is NOT me!  If EVERYBODY will do this these types of calls will end.  When they ask for "the person" tell them to hold on you will go get them.  Then set the phone down and let them sit there without returning.  I have done this to two other companies looking for that same person and they have stopped calling me finally.

I receive calls from this number regularly, it is paramount recovery systems as the person above stated with address and such.  I do have medical debt so the calls are valid for me, however, when they leave messages, they don't identify their company, they just leave a rep name and extension to call back and contact them.  As far as not being the person they are looking for, they should be able to provide you with a number or transfer you to someone to verify your info and have you removed from their database. if you contact them in writing notifing them to stop all contact with you using the address provided above by 'aa' they legally have to stop calling however they may send a notice that they will take a more serious approach.

They keep calling me also, but looking for my ex-husband and we have been divorced for over 10 years. They call my cell phone and home phone.
I just emailed the company itself (the managers, the president of the company and their HR dept) and told them I was now starting a "paper trail" with that email, that my ex does not live here and they are to cease and desist calling me per FTC and Fair Debt Collection Practics Act because it is NOT my debt.
If they call again, I will be sending them a certified letter and contacting an attorney who handles harrassment phone calls.

They called again today. I've stopped answering calls that don't show ID

Yah i have had calls like this where thay call 21 times in a day. So i sent them a paper of a law Suit and thay Quit calling me eva sence

Got a call looking for some unknown person. They would not say what this call was about and hung up.

Who ever it is, calls at 8 am everyday, leaves no message & I dont answer!

Yep its Paramount Recovery Systems attempting to collect a debt from someone

They call and leave very "intense" messages but give absolutely no information as to the nature of the call, who they represent, and why they are calling me other than to say in a threating tone that they are attempting to recover a debt.  I have no debts that are not current and paid on time every month.  They did NOT provide a name or an extension to return the call...simply 866-250-7007.  I attempted to call this number 3 times and received a busy signal.  On the fourth attempt I got a recording that advised that I should wait.  I waited for 60 to 90 seconds and then another recording came on indicating that the person I was trying to reach...remember, they provided no name and no extension...but the person I was trying to reach was not available.

I will NOT return any more of their calls.  They are obviously "less than a professional and ligitimate" business.

Their messages left on my answering machine did NOT identify them as Paramount.  However, when I was able to get something other than a busy signal their outgoing message stated that I had reached Paramount Recovery.
